I'd go with the X1 version. I hooked my PC up to my TV for the first time the other day. So overrated, save yourself the trouble and stick to console. That Elite controller, achievements, party chat with friends so we can giggle like school girls while playing the game. It's all i need.

Errr...Steam achievements, Elite controller works on PC, and you can party chat on PC to X1 if you have the preview dash or when it fully launches.

So, yeah. Your points are not really points at all.

Does anyone else get upset/pissed off, knowing that the game is finished and they're withholding it from us?

I KNOW YOU HAVE IT! GIVE IT TO MEEEEEE!

Oh god, imagine if they announced a delay after it going gold.

That Fallout would be apocalyptic.

Bethesda will not offer a demo version of its upcoming RPGFallout 4, the developer has confirmed. Writing on Twitter, marketing executive Pete Hines explained why that won't happen. "No demo," he said to a fan who asked about it. "Not possible to cut up the game into a small piece."

Oh god... I just remembered that you can get allies... I wonder how many of these I'll kill.

Thanks for insisting Bethesda.

Oh man. i just can't wait to leave the vault and have total freedom. Getting my first weapon, new clothes, I think I'll run the wrong way just for fun!
Can't wait to discover FO4's world.

This is what's awesome about Bethsoft's games they put you in an open world and even though we will have similar experiences they won't be the same.

So playing on PC is kinda like playing on console, just more of a hassle? Thanks, you proved my point.

Except playing on PC allows you to play at higher resolutions, frame rates and with graphical mods the consoles could never support

Actually, I disproved your points. None of your points = more of a hassle.

Playing on PC has its pros, same as playing on console has its pros. The days of constant issues with drivers and what not are long gone. PC gaming is a relatively hassle free experience.

Only 15 seconds, but hey, at least it's somethin'!

I have no problem with drivers and such when it comes to owning a PC. I've owned one for years. It's just a matter of comfort. Fallout is such a big vast open world and I think I rather sit back in a comfy recliner and explore.

As well as tons and tons and tons of free content. Some of it good, some of it great, most of it rubbish but it'll be there. Hell, I think people are still creating quest/story driven content for FO3 and FONV...

Not to mention true freedom of game control. Prefer this pad over the other? No problem, PC can do that. Want finer control with much better ease of use for the multitudes of game interactions? KB&M have that covered.

How about the ability to create and then play the content ourselves without having to wait for some community DLC to be made, then ported and then okay'd by MS?

Shall I go on?

Of course not, because by now most level headed people know that for the most robust Fallout experience it takes a PC, period.

That's all well and good, but you can do that just as easily with a PC. I do it nearly every day.

If by 'more of a hassle' you mean having superior framerates, resolutions, mods, cheaper games and more longevity to your games then sure.
That far outweighs the very minimal and overblown driver hiccups that console gamers love to spout as if it is some sort of Achilles heel.
From what I understand having to do rudimentary problem solving and reading system requirements correctly is something apparently only PC gamers can do.

Back on topic though: That Fallout menu looks sexy.

1. I don't have a recliner in my office.
2. I don't want to hook my PC to my TV to play Fallout 4.

I'm going to wait to see how both platforms rate when released.

Alright so actual ps4 shots have surfaced:

Draw distance definitely took a hit since E3 or that was running on PC

Definitely console shots there.
Cautious note to everybody: just be careful and mindful of any posts you make that can potentially spoil the game for others.

Sorta wish I could unsee those pics, may need to avoid this thread until release. Just the same they do get me even more pumped for what will be taking up most of my holiday season's downtime. De-lic-ous!!!

I've been finding myself searching for Fallout 4 news and leaks a few times a day now. I don't know why I do this to myself! As for those screenshots, having only ever been a console gamer, they look more than fine to me. It's definitely a step up from Fallout3/NewVegas and that's enough to make me all giddy.

Yeah its not bad, I don't really care that much considering the gameplay will be top notch.

I will be too busy customizing my weapons and kitting out my settlements. The weapon customiation looks insane.

I am hoping somebody gets a early copy and streams it on twitch. I want to see the customization in action.
