Far Cry 4 aiming for 1080p for both next-gen platforms

So 900p then and a big graphics downgrade like most of Ubisofts games.

People didn't like FC3??? Wow. I loved it. FC2 was even good, but just had some flaws that needed addressed (which were in 3). I love the true open ended shooter games. I loved how when attacking you could do it multiple ways and still succeed. You could sneak in and try not to kill anyone, snipe at people from range, or just go full on Rambo in the front door (or a combination). I thought the story was great too. The scenes with Vaas were some of the best video game scenes I have seen in a long time.

Most single player FPS games bore me to tears, but Far Cry is one of the few that don't.

I thought it was just bad for any medium. Affluent white kid of Richpeopleeverywhere America finds himself among a tribe of warriors who just can't seem to fend off these outsiders. Said affluent kid becomes "one of them" and subsequently becomes the most powerful warrior out of all of them in the span of like 3 days. At the end "gets" the girl....this is such a overplayed trope (they didn't even try to make it interesting or different, just lifted it wholesale). Funny enough the backlash from the story spurred Ubi to make FC4's story the way it currently is.
 
Loved FC3, very much looking forward to 4. It doesn't look like a huge step up and actually looks alot like more of the same, but the same was really, really good in 3 so more of it won't be a bad thing. My biggest gripe so far is the number of re-used weapons and animations, but thats not something that'd stop me from playin' it...
 
Ok maybe I lied because I did beat Blood Dragon, but I'd say it's different enough.
 
Do we relly need telling this ? I man 1080P and 60FPS are going to be what developers aim for. Same as they are always going to aim for parity across platforms.
 
If it is 1080p on both then they are clearly holding back the PS4 version!:yignore:Ygrin:
 
it was a joke, poking fun at the fact that 4k was mentioned for these consoles back then
