The story says a provider "inflated" their numbers and FCC ran with it. When they let it be known the numbers were off, they didn't back off their claim that there's been massive expansion of broadband since Net Neutrality rules were destroyed.
They still want to put a "back door" into every encryption system as well, basically meaning the government can access any data. Even if for the sake of argument you are ok with gov't having that power, it will certainly fall into the wrong hands and destroy online security.
1st Amendment is being taken apart right before our eyes. Your guns won't do a thing if you don't have access to free information.
