Felix Baumgartner's edge of space jump from a GoPro camera

I can jump from even higher up... I just don't have batteries for my GoPro right now. :)

That is amazing.

Incredible. Watched when it happened, but from this view with that quality it's so much better.

So what would have happened if he did black out when he said that he think he might? Was there some kind of button they could push back at base camp that would make his chute pull? Or would he have just died?

Auto chute deployment when he hit a certain altitude.

I'm still amazed by this. I thought he had died when I was watching live. The spin was intense. It's a awesome feat for mankind.

Nothing on this planet could support him going 800 miles an hour while not snapping his back into two.

Well if I remember right, by the time he passed stratosphere he was falling in a normal speed, so he could have stayed a little longer. Doesn't matter though because he set whole bunch of other records.

Yeah if you look at his airspeed after that point it's from 150-125 mph. That'd be funny though, like 85k ft of Bungie cord...

Very cool. Too bad he has a horrible name. Why couldn't his be like...Blaze Falcon or something?
