How is it true? High on life was intentionally funny and never took itself serious with its own brand of humor and got slammed anyway by people who didn't enjoy the humor, dudes getting wrecked in the thread.
The dialogue is supposed to be for a serial killer turned superhero (but she doesn't want to be interpreted as such). You're not supposed to take it too seriously the way I see it.
The main character of Forspoken? Unless there is a twist she's just a petty thief.

Forspoken is more an unorthodox and strange origin story of an unlikely "super hero" . You tell me if that's supposed to be serious or not.
It's a consistent 60 fps 4K w/ DLSS Performance. All graphics set to max, including RT. Loading times are instantaneous.
Graphics aren't impressive at all for this generation. FF15 looks so much better and ran better.

Fair enough I haven't played the full game just the demo and seen cringe snippets which is what I guess happened to people with high on life too. I'd love to be proven wrong and have some actual funny writing.
The dialogue is fine when playing the game. The main characters have good VO overall and Jonathan Cake (The Shade from Stargirl) elevates everything so it's nice that he's the VO for the chatty companion. The characters that don't matter much, that is where the dialogue and VO can be not so good.
Most people like to make sweeping generalisations. Everyone knows that.

People who have actually been playing the game here have said the dialogue is fine. Deflecting what ?
The media also said HoL is terrible yet you loved it.
