Forza Horizon 2: Finished the finale, but it appears again?

So the other day i finished the finale of FH2 and the guy told me i was in charge and it was on me where the road trip would be next. So i did a few more races and now for the second time the gold finale icon appeared on the map. I also cannot find the icon for the road trip. So....does this mean i need to win the finale again or something? I don't get this. There is one pink H icon on the map but there are no championships available for me. I don't get this.

Basically, you start over and try to get to the finale again. You can keep choosing the championships you didn't do yet to get back to the 2nd Finale. I think you just go to the pink icons and choose a dest/championship and there you are but I haven't played in a few months and got to that point some time last year so I could be off .

Just go to the icon.

That's the weird thing...i go to the pink icon, but it says there are no championships, while there are plenty of championships still to take on. I guess i'll go finish the finale again.

That is the icon I meant. You have to do the finale first before the other championships become available again.

Ah, so basically i have to finish that same finale twice? I never expected it would work like that. But that's no problem, i'll grab my best car and we on!!!

Yeah, I was little surprised that the finale came so early. Then I was surprised more when there was a second finale.

Yeah i don't like it one bit to be honest. The finale is rather long and just now i finished second...i need to do it over again. So before i can particpate in the other races, i need to finish this finale again. Nah, i don't like it.

Everybody has to do it twice. Once you finish the first 15 championship countdown and do the Finale the 15 Championship countdown starts again. Just to be clear, it isn't the same finale.

I haven't proceeded through my second Championship yet.

So now Finale doesn't mean Finale anymore......I am so confused....it's kinda like Launch isn't Launch anymore.

TV shows have multiple finales. This game has a part 1 & 2. Not sure if there is more after.

Yeah, I had planned on finalizing the finale that is post the first finale, to make it final. Too many damn good games I am playing right now.

Well Mosquito made it sound like he had to do the Finale a second time right after finishing it the first time. I'm about 75% of the way to the 2nd Finale but I had no issues doing championships as he has had. Anywho, I just looked at it like a New Game + mode....you get to keep all your earned/bought cars and keep going for round 2.
