Official Thread Forza Motorsport 6

Yeah that is super annoying. There's that one spot on the track that's not even really a turn where you clip one blade of grass and boom, dirty lap.

I'll have to try the clutch again. I know it can be done, I just can't get my brain to do it right yet. I need to spend more time on it because I know it helps times, especially with the lower class cars.

lol what is going on in this?

I went to the used car dealer and asked for a Tesla. It was noisy in there and he gave me a Mustang instead :)

Really though, some dude passed out while driving.

Was playing some GT leagues last night and OMG was there some ridiculous corner cutting go on at Le Mans and Sonoma. Absolutely ridiculous.

I will a post a video showing what I mean later today or tomorrow.

Racing For Everyone
We have designed the ForzaRC to be as open as possible – a place where players of all skill levels can participate and have a great time competing for awesome prizes. The first season of the ForzaRC will include both an Elite Series and an Open Series available to all players. Each series will follow a slightly different path, utilize different modes in the game, and have different prizes available to winners. The common link between them? Everyone is invited to compete!

Elite Series

The ForzaRCElite Series will feature the best virtual racers in the world competing in Forza Motorsport 6 for the ultimate prize – a brand new 2017 Ford Focus RS. Arguably the most acclaimed hot-hatch of the decade, the 350-horsepower Focus RS has wowed fans and critics alike with its track-bred performance and its sleek and sophisticated lines.

The Elite Series will feature Rivals qualifiers and ESL-run tournaments across three separate weeks of competition beginning on August 8. Here’s how it will work.

Each week, we will post a new Forza RC Elite Series Rivals Qualifier event. This Rivals qualifier will set the seeding for the weekly ForzaRC Elite Series Cup tournament being run by our partners at ESL (see below for more details on the weekly schedule). The top 16 racers in the weekly Elite Series Cup tournament will then compete during a livestreamed weekly ForzaRC Elite Series Showdown race on the Forza Twitch channel, which will be held each week on Sunday.

The top four racers from the weekly Showdown events will move on to the ForzaRC Elite Series Grand Finals, which will be broadcast live on the Forza Twitch Channel on September 4. The grand prize winner for the ForzaRC Elite Series Grand Finals will take home a real 2017 Ford Focus RS (see the rules for prizing eligibility in your region).

In addition to a chance to win a brand new car, each week’s top four registered finishers in the ForzaRC Elite Series will also win amazing prizes from Xbox, Microsoft, and our partners at Logitech. These weekly prizes include Xbox One S consoles, Xbox Elite controllers, Logitech wheels, and more. As an added bonus, everyone who posts a time in the weekly ForzaRC Rivals qualifier will be sent a special bonus car – the 1973 Ford Escort 1600. This special bonus car will feature a new ForzaRC-themed livery that will change per week, and the only place you’ll be able to win these cars is through the ForzaRC.

If you’re interested in competing in the ForzaRC Elite Series, make sure you read the terms & conditions to understand the rules, then sign up here.

In the ForzaRC Elite Series, players worldwide will be racing for the ultimate prize: a real-life 2017 Ford Focus RS!
Open Series

In the ForzaRC Open Series, players will compete in special weekly ForzaRC Open Series League events beginning on August 8. As is always the case with Leagues, these ForzaRC Open Series League events will automatically group players by skill divisions, guaranteeing that all players compete against similarly skilled opponents. While everyone is invited to play in the ForzaRC Open Series, in order to be eligible to win prizes, competitors must first make sure they meet the eligibility requirements spelled out in the Open Series terms and conditions and register over at the ESL’s ForzaRC site.

Competitors in the ForzaRC Open Series will be vying for Forza Motorsport 6 prizes, including codes for Forza Motorsport 6 DLC like the NASCAR Expansion, the Porsche Expansion, and the Forza Motorsport 6 Car Pass. In addition, each week, all participants in the ForzaRC Open Series League will be sent a special bonus car – the 1971 Ford Falcon XY GTHO Phase III – with a custom ForzaRC Open Series livery that will be unique for each week of competition.

If you’re interested in competing in the ForzaRC Open Series, make sure you read the terms & conditions to understand the rules, then sign up here.

As a reminder: While all players are invited to take part in our ForzaRC Open Series and the ForzaRC Elite Series, only registered and eligible players will be able to win prizes.

Got an Email today confirming my placement in the top 50% of Forza Racing Championship week 1 and it included my code for the Car Pass prize

Really sucks that I had technically difficulties for the other 2 events. Would have loved to have got the Porsche or Nascar Expansion as well.

I'm a year late but i think i'm finally going to do it guys. I plan on picking up Forza 6 within the next week. I'm thirsty for some pinnacle of racing sim action before FH3 comes out. Can't wait any longer.
