Official Thread Game of Thrones

You would think you would be able to see a fleet of ships while flying on a dragon. Maybe they were invisible.

So if half of their army was knocked out by the White Walkers, is it still big enough to take out Kings Landing, especially with only Drogon left?

Also, Jaime back on his bulls***. He's definitely going to have some kind of fight with Euron right? Also, didn't Cersei tell him she'd have him killed if she saw him again?

You know I get that the audience knows about Jon but wouldn't it really kill them to spend 2 minutes so we could see Sansa and Arya react? Its kind of a big deal.

Well it doesn't make a ton of sense but the White Walkers have been around before and could come back again. Wouldn't be for generations so hard to imagine anyone would care but they definitely established that he wants to go north of the wall.

What a complete waste of time they ended up being.
The white walkers were beleived to be because they were not seen for thousands of years. Don't think it was ever said that the night king was killed. So, I am of the opinion that they are dead dead now.

Waste of time indeed.

Since the people of Kings Landing somehow were ok with Cersei blowing up an entire religion and their King I am ok with Dany burning them all alive.

Speaking of the Iron Fleet, are we gonna see Yara come back with a huge fleet or is the current fleet loyal to Euron? The Greyjoy's are such a weird story it's hard to keep track of who is loyal to who over there

I think she makes a glorious return. Everyone that's on Euron's tip are probably with him. What's unknown are how many are left behind?

I think they're done with doing anything on the sea. That's all we get.

So the big important battle happened and everybody just moves on with really doing much at all. Anybody still disagree the Night King was a mere distraction and a means to level the battlefield.

Oh and look at this, Dany is now becoming the tryant in the last few episodes...meh.

She's always shown signs of it. Not sure how people could miss/ignore it

Bullshi... oh...

Doesn't seem like a great example of her being the Mad Queen. If she killed them just for taking up arms against her then maybe but she gave them the chance to bend the knee.

I feel like I need more examples because the books dropped hints but I never felt like it was going anywhere because the show never gave me the reason to think it was.

She killed them because they wouldn't bend the knee. That warrants prison, not burned to death.

She finds out about banging her nephew and first think that enters her mind is the iron throne.

As Tyrion begged her to do several times

We know she is driven by the throne but we have seen her rule and she wasn't a tyrant

One thing I don't like is the whole prince that was promised storyline has just been dropped :txbconfused:

We know she is driven by the throne but we have seen her rule and she wasn't a tyrant
1a: an absolute ruler unrestrained by law or constitution
b: a usurper of sovereignty
2a: a ruler who exercises absolute power oppressively or brutally
b: one resembling an oppressive ruler in the harsh use of authority or power

She wants no other rulers than herself. She went into other countries and overthrew their governments through shows of power by killing other rulers. I know, they were bad people, but she still did it, and did it all so she can be the supreme ruler of everything. She still wants to be the supreme ruler ever though she has zero claim to it.

As a viewer you can't see her as bad when she overthrows slavers and frees the slaves after she takes power. There are no democracies in this world so what you are saying applies to everyone who has had taken aim at the throne.

And think about it from the perspective of Vary who has a problem with Dany despite help setting events that would put Viserys on the Throne with the Dothraki. The Dothraki who would have raped and pillaged Westeros.
