Game Trailers Top 10 Controllers

It seems like the mixed the list up with "best for it's time controllers" and "best overall controllers right now".

The DS4 is probably the best controller ever created but the DS1 may be the best for it's time.

I actually really wanted to try the PS3 boomerang controller.
 
The boomerang would have probably killed the PS3. Looked very uncomfortable.

Its not a opinion that Nintendo invented certain things is all.
 
The disgusting GC controller is the reason I never bought one. I've owned every other one of big N's console except the cube.
 
The 360 controller was the most comfortable controller I have ever played with.
 
My top 5 would be:

1. Xbox One
2. Xbox 360
3. DS4
4. Wii U Pro
5. GameCube

I don't care about the rest. Most of them were solid controllers overall though. The Xbox S controller was a big improvement over the Duke i thought. Dreamcast and N64 controllers kinda sucked looking back. Having the PS1 controller over the Xbox 360? Yeah, no.

Nintendo usually makes quality stuff. The GC controller had some good ideas and was well designed as far as functionality. Mine always broke. Specifically the C-stick.
 
That's one thing about Nintendo for me, Never had to repair/replace a console.
 
Why does everyone hate on the GameCube controller? lol. It was Nintendo's best controller by far. Besides the Wii U Pro controller. I love that one. If Nintendo would have stuck with the GC controller and made improvements like Microsoft and Sony have done with their controllers over the years they'd be a much better situation.

I didn't mind the design just the quality of construction.

I chose the X1 controller over the 360 but there's things i like more about the 360 controller. For one, the 360 controller feels more sturdy. On one of my X1 controllers the plastic seams aren't lined up right and if i squeeze it with some pressure it sounds like it's going to snap lol. I like the thumb sticks more on the 360 controller, but i like the d-pad and triggers more on the X1 controller. The 360 bumpers were better. Overall they're both great.
 
I was so impressed with the X1 controller after using it...I bought a X1 a few days later even though I was holding off for a kinectless sku(people doubted me saying one was coming soon).

Never felt that way about the XB 360 controller and always preferred 3rd party controllers over the MS made one.
