Games that still hold up.

Even with the old tank controls,RE: Code veronica is still entertaining.

BTW,did Jet Grind Radio ever came out on XBLA?

RE:CV my favorite RE game, and prolly my favorite DC game, right up there with Skies of Arcadia.

Jet grind radio came out on XBLA a while back. It was actually on sale a few weeks ago too.

Shenmue. Looks great on a HD TV and the attention to detail is still something most games cant come close to.

Baldurs Gate II
Tetris
Space Harrier for the challenge of it's gameplay, damn frustrating game back then.
Captive - What an amazing game at the time, spent hours on end with it, this and Eye of the Beholder.

Turtles in Time (SNES)
Psychonauts
Kingdom Hearts

Just a few games I've played recently that still hold up.

By the way, I use the widescreen mod, so while the game is still fugly, it's not "as" fugly as running in its native res.

That looks bad? I don't know, that looks great to me. The environments look great and detailed.

Yeah, well, I like the way it looks and plays....just said because I know for alot of people, it's not what they want to see. Gameplay matters and this game has it.

For me RPG's hold up the best. FPS do not age that well.

I picked up Final Fantasy Tactics over the summer have not got around to playing it yet. It was one of my favorites back in the day.

I bet Zork's graphics still look as crisp as ever.

Quite a few games to list but honestly if I had to pick one it would be Ninja Gaiden Black.

Visually it's still and always will be easy on the eyes AND the gameplay is simply perfection. Can't even tell you how many times I've played through it. I actually feel sorrow, legit sorrow, for anyone that never experienced the game.

Those of you who still play morrowind (I do as well) - have you tried the Morrowind Overhaul? It's been recently redone and is a lot easier to install. Still a bit tedious, but once I installed and played it, I couldn't believe they could get MOrrowind to look this good.

Check out the trailer:

Yes, I've installed it. Certainly is an awesome mod.
