Gamespot have set up an interesting experiment to see if gamers could tell the difference between PC, PS4 and Xbox One when they couldn't see which one they were playing.
Worth a watch.
Worth a watch.
9:10 They give us a comparison!Someone didn't watch the whole video.
so did 1/2 the panel on farcry then they claimed to easily see a difference on assasin creeds all PS4s.Could figure which were which right away.
Yup.This went as I expected. People need to be told what to think, because the differences are so miniscule.
Youtube comparison video? lol.
The final control test is a laugh. Goes to show even Gamespot editors can't tell.
If people in the test used their head, they could have said they are the same. However, some of them even tried to validate their choice with reasons. No, that's not what it shows. It shows that if you deceive people into thinking you are presenting three different versions, and then you tell them their job is to decide which is which, people will fail. That is not really a surprise, since the setup guarantees failure.
Paid shills no doubt...Very noticeable even more so when witnessed 1st hand.
Lol, no not @ all it speaks volumes. Some perceived a difference. That is why it was an excellent test. They could have answered it as the girl did that they couldn't tell but they definitely knew the better version was the PC...That is not really a surprise, since the setup guarantees failure.
In favor of the defense, "some" people are "dumb." Actually, better put: society as a whole, the majority, the casuals, the masses... are in general "dumb." So actually, the video cannot really prove anything one way or another.Lol, no not @ all it speaks volumes. Some perceived a difference. That is why it was an excellent test. It really depends on the person. Some will lead themselves to a viewpoint based on what others tell them. But some will give their own viewpoint that goes against the grain. In favor of the defense, "some" people are "dumb." Well I guess you could be so desperate to disprove this interesting little test if it bothers you so by calling the entire human race stupid "in general"? Now maybe, just maybe the folks tested aren't mentally handicapped as you've implied? To some of us it certainly does prove some seen a difference when there was and wasn't one. I'd like to see the far cry portion add the PC framerate equal to the consoles to see then if as many could guess all 3/3.In favor of the defense, "some" people are "dumb." The majority of people are dumb. What does that have to do with the people tested in the video? The majority of people are dumb. It's just the truth.
Because they tested this on people. And people are dumb. What does that have to do with the people tested in the video?
