Accessibility is HUGE. I am glad to see more and more developers focusing on this. Audio is an issue for me too with 95% hearing loss in my left ear due to menieres. So I need to set everything to mono so that my right ear takes it all in. But then that defies direction sometimes. Using a headset that is. It's better when not using a headset.

God of War Ragnarok Difficulties

They said Give me God of War on 2018 was harder at the start intentionally, so people could have an idea of how hard it could get and let them decide to restart the game with a lower difficulty.

Now, Give me God of War on Ragnarok will have a more nomarlized difficulty that will grow as the game goes on. They also said you will be able to lower from GMGOW to one of the lower difficulties if it's too much for you, but you won't be able to go back up to GMGOW if you do so. The other difficulties you can lower and raise them as much as you want.

They also said each difficulty has been tested and modified to make them work, not just damage and health scales. They said the higher difficulties won't have enemies that feel like sponges anymore, since they can still be killed rather fast, but will be faster, more agressive and cause more damage.

Nice, I'll get it on PC next year. I still haven't even finished the first one.
You should man, It's so gooooood! For me anyway, lol. I'm playing through the last game again on PS5 and it's still fantastic, imo.

Speaking of which, as I am playing it, great as it still looks, I can definitely see where it will benefit from newer rendering techniques. I actually think I will be surprised with how much better this new one will look. A shader bump and improved lighting will definitely elevate already outstanding visuals.

It's funny how much I disliked 1-3 Kratos compared to the Rebooted God killer we have today. Having his son there to help him grow and give his character dimension was a brilliant move. Having his cold and rough exterior give way is such a great metaphor for what having my own kids did for me. I also love how he calls him "boy", which is what I always call my son (and soon to be step-son), lol.
