Well there be a day one directors cut and upgrade, that’ll include file transfers?

No, because it's a simultaneous release so no Director's Cut.

"All you have to do at that point is watch the original Gran Turismo 7 launch demo to “unlock the Beta code early”, though the code given to all players appears to be a placeholder. Rather than the complex, 12-digit code normally provided, it’s simply 1234-5678-9012 — and doesn’t work if you try to redeem it.

That all rather strongly indicates that this promotion itself seems to be a test which has rather inadvertently appeared for public consumption. However, whether this specific feature is functional or not, it’s the very first hint that a beta for Gran Turismo 7 might exist, just as it did for Gran Turismo Sport."

Yeah I already read that.

Cinematics look great! But what happened to the in game graphics 😕

I am glad we are getting a campaign again. This game can’t get here soon enough.

They’ve always looked flat, as if they painted their textures on cardboard… but I guess that helps with the overall cohesive look

Thats PS answer to Forza graphics Dried?

This was a boxing match the towel would have been thrown in at that point. That is PS3 looking.

Yes. Some parts do look rough I agree but let us see if they smooth it out closer to launch.

For me always online is okay since my consoles have been connected to internet ever since the PS3 days. For others maybe not if they want to bring it for travel.

Remember guys, always online requirement for single player means not just the gamer has to have a continuous connection but the servers for the game as well. And I remember how much that sucked while trying to solo in Outriders when the servers were nuked for a variety of reasons which meant that even though I had a stable online connection I still couldn't play.

These devs are afforded more resources for this high profile title. But it doesn't mean they are immune from server disruptions and if something goes wrong on their end the game is kaput until its sorted out. Not saying that'll happen but its possible and why many don't like online requirement for solo play.

GT Sport requires you to be online in order to save. You can still play the campaign but just can't save.

I guess GT7 will be exactly the same way.

Watched the 4K trailer posted by Sony and it looks a bit better than what you could see on the show version. Still has a bit of time left to beef up but hope we didn't get bamboozled due to PS4 version.

Raytracing in cinematics only right now.

Aiming for perfect 4k/60fps.

――I'm looking forward to implementing ray tracing, but on the other hand, what game fans are interested in is where ray tracing can be used because it is very heavy processing.

Mr. Yamauchi: For the time being, you can choose ray tracing in the replay even during the game, and then you can see the stage demo and the picture with ray tracing applied in the garage.
――Isn't it really applicable while driving?

Yamauchi: That's right. It's really difficult while driving.

――I'm also very concerned about the performance of the game, but please tell us how far you are challenging, including the frame rate.

Mr. Yamauchi: First of all, I am thinking of achieving perfect 4K / 60fps.

No 120 fps support either.
――How about the 120fps display?

Mr. Yamauchi: We are aware of that, but we have no plans to support 120p at the time of the release of "GT7".
