Didn't own last gen version so I might grab it depending how the other big November releases do in reviews. Nov could be a month with a lot of winners or alot of busts. At least with GTA you know what you're getting.

No other big release in November will accrue the review scores GTA V got on last gen never mind what it will get on this gen. You're seriously missing out if you don't buy it, the Last Of Us and GTA V are the two best games of last gen.

To add to that, at least one other site (CVG) said they've seen it too and will be talking about it tomorrow. Probably a few other sites too I guess.

This is going above and beyond for a port, I don't think anyone can say that this isn't worth $60.

looks wild as hell! did they increase the mp player count?any dedicated servers on this? is there a co-op mode? I will probably get this in december.

Ok ....ok...that looks......TOO f***ING SICK!!!

Also...good news for X1 folks, like me, according to Gamereactor.eu:

The entire experience is now presented in 1080p with a locked 30 frames per second (and that's the same across both consoles)
Well, the game isn't really do anything that requires anything, and it's just an old engine. Heck, even the Xbox One can do pac-man in 1080p at 30fps.

nice one mosquito, you know rollins had posted the rumour that it would be increased to 1080 on the one, an be announced somehow_ his rumour dude was right on that one.

1080p 30fps? Pfft, I will wait for PC version.

First person mode confirmed.

Hmmm...I was getting ready to say how much I do not give a crap about such a mode, but, honestly, I think it actually looked pretty awesome. More so the Cockpit view for vehicles  I assume this will be added to MP like DM and TDM ? and does this get changed on the fly, so i can swap between the 2 views when ever ?

Yeah, it's pretty enticing. I'd like to play GTA 5 in first-person mode. It'll have to wait until after the big RPGs of the season, though.

I'm assuming the answer to your questions is "yes," but I don't actually know.

I hope so. Although not a deal breaker.

Do we know if there will be some kind of upgrade discount for GTA 5 ? I still have my 360 version.

True man, but to be fair, GTA 5 was already pretty next gen looking, plus they couldnt get CoD ghosts 1080p and that is a damn old ass engine. I am very happy that V is 1080p on X1 too cause i honetly expected otherwise.

I was being facetious.

I did not. R* are one of the few companies I put in faith in when it comes to their engine and maximizing console hardware at any given time.

Still...when they only announced PS4 being 1080p a week ago or so...i thought 900p would be a given now. Still dont get it why they didnt confirm it then cor x1 too.

I can understand why you would come to that determination, and it is a fair one at that given the trend of disparity. Perhaps the delay was a technical thing, needing more time to lock the Res and frame rate before announcing.
