GTA V coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC this fall.

I played a minimal amount on 360, Ill probably buy it on the PS4.

Not sure what the excitement is for this game. I'll be saving my $60 for something new.

It's not exactly new to me. I mean I had it on PS3 and while pretty for a 7th gen game I just couldn't get past some of its visual quirks and poor frame rate.

Now it's coming to PC so it should be a whole new beast.

R* Please, please, pleasepleasepleaseplease, pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeease, get this right.

Also, no GFWL type crap, ty.

Yeah I can understand the people wanting it on PC where it's yet to come out yet. Getting it on a new console when you had it on an old console like less than a year ago (or close to it) is what I don't understand.

Cause the game is awesome. Simple as that my good fellow.

The last game I played on 360 was GTA5. I sold the game, sold the console, but after about a month I started wanting to go back. Now's the time.

I couldn't get over the terrible framerate and responsiveness or there lack of, of the console version when I am used to playing every game at >60fps on PC so I said F-it and waited for the PC ver. My patience has paid off.

Same here, eVo. The only reason I bought GTAV on PS3 was partly that I fell for the hype and partly because my nephew loves the GTA series and it thought it would be fun to play it with him when he visited.

But I spoiled him with PC gaming and he started echoing my opinions. While he loves GTA he kept saying he wished that it was 1080p/60fps because he got used to that playing games on my PC's.

He called me today when he got home from school "you're gonna get GTAV on PC right? You're gonna get two copies so we can play online together when I come over, right? I know you are, tell me you are!"

He's even more geeked for it than I am.

I will buy this on Ps4 and PC. Unbelievable game and one of the two reasons why my PS3 is still hooked up. Not that i play it, can't stand playing on the ps3 now lol. But it felt good to know it was always there.

I cannot wait for this!

The massive amount of jaggies covering literally everything in GTA5 on the last gen consoles was incredibly disappointing to me. I look forward to being able to look at things without seeing square edges on everything.

I should have waited for next-gen version. Not sure I want to play the whole thing twice...

Cool beans. Waited on this game and I'll either end up buying it super cheap on the 360 or just play it on the X1. Hopefully their online gets better. Heard that was a bit poopy.

Never bothered with GTA games on last gen (with exception of playing GTA4 for about 3 days and traded it in for full value during an EB $60 trade back promotion). The content and production values are there, but the frame rate can take a nose dive. Here's hoping the next gen games iron out the frame rate. Increase the textures, res and even physics/animation, but please leave some juice left for smoother gameplay.

Will definitely double dip. Still laughing at Sony's Press Conference saying "You will be able to transfer your progress from the XB360 and PS3 to the PS4"

It is great news and i hope it won't be just graphical and performance improvements. I'd love to see some really cool interiors. I was playing Dead Rising 3 at my bro's place today and i love how many interiors you have there. I really do not like how little of them are there in GTA V currently. Hell....GTA IV had multiple fastfood stores you could enter...not a single on in V. Or how about more than just one nightclub or just a normal club? Also let the pedestrians do much more things compared to what they do now.

Glad i held off on buying it, i just couldn't make myself buy a 360 game when i was getting a launch XBO.

Now ill get to play a better version.

Good call! I had a feeling R* would re-issue GTA 5 for next gen. These GTA games come out few and far between so R* will definitely take advantage of getting extra sales in between GTA5 and whenever GTA6 comes out. I think during the TXB days I said it would be summer 2014. Not sure what the release date is (maybe Q4 2014), but close enough.

GTA 5 Xbox One's technical improvements revealed
http://www.totalxbox.com/78026/gta-5-xbox-ones-technical-improvements-revealed/

Rockstar has shed a little more light on the Xbox One version of Grand Theft Auto 5, which was announced overnight. Are you a fan of "detail"? Because there's a "stunning new level" of the stuff in GTA 5 for the next generation Xbox, apparently.
According to a release, the game boasts "across-the-board graphical and technical improvements", such as "increased draw distances, finer texture details, denser traffic, and enhanced resolutions work together to bring new life to the cities, towns, deserts and oceans of Rockstar North's epic reimagining of Southern California".
You can expect "the biggest, deepest and richest open world experience yet, with game world enhancements that include new wildlife, upgraded weather and damage effects, and an array of new details to discover". Details! There's just no telling where they'll end up in GTA 5.
GTA Online reaps the same benefits, obviously, plus a few of its own. Sign in, and you'll be able to tap into "all new content and gameplay created since the launch of Grand Theft Auto Online, including an extensive array of new Jobs, an arsenal of new weapons, scores of new vehicles, new properties and player customizations". Players will be able to transfer their Xbox 360 (or PS3) saves to the new game.

so you can transfer PS3 saves to X1 too? sony acted like it was something special they were doing. tutututu

Remember it's the guys that still think Destiny and Watch dogs is exclusive, lol.

is that how it works ? usually these things are brand specific. So 360 to X1 and PS3 to PS4.

well sony said you can transfer xbox 360 saves over to PS4, taking the praise as if it was something special they did with rockstar.. but turns out it works both ways lol Sony do this so much at their conferences, they are the master of using sentences that trick people

If it is true then that is cool. I see no mention of being able to do this for the PC version.
