It's more Arcadey but once you get used to it, it's not that bad.
I honestly did not like it at first considering I got used to GTA IV's handling.
It's a much better game, even from the first mission. No one who ever liked the franchise will hate this game imo, big statement to make but it's that much fun.
I wouldn't mind it being a little more arcadey if it meant being able to maintain high speeds or improved off-road driving.
welp! I rang up every independent game shop within reasonable distant from me and none of them are breaking street date. Turns out R* have got this locked up tight.

A7 I changed my pre-order from the PS3 to the Xbox 360 for the reasons I stated on the TXB have I made the right choice? does the game play solid on the Xbox 360.

These guys are kinda annoying.
Devs have said more than once that both versions are essentially identical, it's nearly impossible to tell a difference between them. Whether or not that's true, who knows, but they've moved from doing their "let journalists play for a while" events from the PS3 version to the 360 version. Seems like a safe bet that there's no glaring issues with either one.
Been working for a while, thanks Left if running in background tab and would peek in from time to time to check it out. He's mostly playing missions so I'm trying not to spoil the game.

I have only played the 360 version (retail not review/beta) and the game has some jaggies here and there which are visible but imo there's no issue with the 360 build except for some pop in which still occurs here and there time to time when moving very quickly.
Will compare to PS3 version when I can get my hands on it.
