Was it a joke after all, that the game was not ready yet and that the releasedate on the Xbox site was a placeholder? Cause i just received a code from MS for Halo 3 ODST. Go check your inboxes. It would be awesome if this is a cool surprise and that they were just trying to mislead the fans. Downloading it now. It's 8.1GB.
 
got my code, but was informed a few months back that it would be up on the 28th.
 
Ah ok, i didn't know that. It's a big surprise to me. Cause yesterday or thursday they said it wasn't finished yet, still in development and what not. It truly seemed like a June game to me now. This is awesome.

It's 5 dollar for anyone who didn't play TMCC before December 19th.

Just got my code too.

So this week I got Fable Legends beta AND ODST. Boom.
 
Just played it a bit. This is a huge change from the original. Check the video out and see for yourself. There were significant changes in lighting which will polarize people, but I really like it. Even the textures look much more high-res.

 
I don't get this whole business with the date. "it's now, no wait it's not now, it's an hour after now." Maybe they found a bug.

Also supposedly they removed the destiny tease.
 
Have everyone check if they are on family account. I got two codes, one for my account, and one for someone that was on my family.
 
Got a code, pretty excited to play it. But with Witcher 3 and the new Destiny DLC, I'm not sure if I'll be able to find the time for a while.

Anybody play this yet? How do the graphics look? Are there any teasers for Halo 5?
 
I "played" the intro cutscene, (busy doin other stuff, wanted to check it out though) and an uprez has not helped bungies lack of skill in crafting human faces. Romeo literally looks like a potato.

The rest looks nice, at least on par with the work they did on halo 3, and the frame jump is obviously welcome.
I don't think they'd put any halo 5 teases in though, the story is a dead end in where it goes and what the ending means, at least in previously established 3rd party sources. Like this did that, and this is what happened as a final result. It's a prequel to 3, so that's as far as it goes in the timeline I think.
 
Yeah the human faces in H3/ODST are all jacked up, specially in H3, the humans all have a zombie look to 'em

Yeah it definitely looks brighter on the XB1, though the scenes that are supposed to be pitch black still are.
 
I can't believe ODST came out this week after all the time I've waited :(

- Been on "vacation" here in Daytona Beach, FL since Saturday. After 3 days, I've pretty much had my fill of the beach and eating seafood. I left my 'Box thinking I wouldn't need it.......I really wish I had it now. Already would have come in handy with the media features (not that the resort has internet even approaching acceptable).

I don't even have a car! How do people function without one?! I feel like my wings have been clipped! Having to rely on others for transportation is hideous! Now, at night I just want to play some Witcher or ODST....... :(

.....Does it count as vacation if you have your kids with you?......

Open up Halo: MC Collection, go to single player, then go to Halo 3. It'll then give you the option to choose between the Halo 3 and Halo 3: ODST campaigns.

I don't know why the heck they chose to put it there under Halo 3. I was confused at first too.

I couldn't find it at first either. Then I remember it was called Halo 3: ODST, which prompted me to go to the Halo 3 tab. Should have been a separate tab between Halo 3 and Halo 4 (or before Halo 3).
 
ODST was "technically" an expansion to 3. Well it was going to be then they decided to charge the full $60. :)

Anyway I forgot how good this game is. I never understood why it got so much hate.

I didn't mind the $60 price tag for it. I had only bought 1 of the MP map packs for H3 at the time, so all of the MP DLC made up for the full retail price.
