Hopefully a revived and reimagining of warzone…wonder what they’ll call it? Hell It may be in the achievements, like how attrition was (think it still is) called breakout, when you let the game idle you’ll see it pop up saying to revive three friendlies in a match
That would be interesting.

Better not be a coop replacement.

Has a cool look, but I REALLY hope they don't resort to the crappy tv show tropes we see over and over again. Obviously it's not going to be following the Canon story line. I have lost all confidence in new writers these days.
Look at it with Marvel, they use the elements from the Ultimate Marvel and I think Cap is the only Main Marvel. Just things are done a little different in the MCU. Which it turned out great.

So far it seems it's just missing the plan to share the long term future roadmap in January. Whether that means other deliverable dates are pushed out is TBD.

Well, you can't blame them for not being able to know when they'd know how to do co-op, they generally have two people try to figure out the roadmap but they apparently never enabled co-op in the product management team either.

We had to switch from Skype to Teams at our work, worldwide. Teams suck ass compared to Skype. WTF MS.

We've been on teams for a couple of years and I very rarely ever used Skype. I like Teams in general, but I'd compare it more to slack or discord than skype.

My biggest issue is that it defaults to chat view instead of contacts. I have to change it from chat to contacts each time I log in and out. With Skype you could have your UI being contacts only without the chat dialog showing on the right. With teams, you have to have a window with all the contacts on the left and the chat window on the right.

The game's player numbers average a daily high of 30,000 concurrent players on Steam, according to Steam's public statistics page, and it usually has about half of that. That's a significant drop from where it was at launch, when it ranked as one of the top five most-played games on the platform.

Comparatively, the top five games on Steam average approximately a quarter million to a million players. That puts "Infinite" well out of the top 10 and firmly in the bottom 20% of the top 100 games on the platform nearly two months since launch.

(...)when pressed for more information, Xbox representatives pointed to a tweet from late January that states that 20 million people have played the game to date and declined further comment. (...)And Steam isn't the only indication that interest in "Halo Infinite" is waning: Twitch viewership reveals a similarly tiny audience. (...) The most-viewed games on Twitch — like "Grand Theft Auto V," "Fortnite," and "Apex Legends" — average over 100,000 viewers. "Halo Infinite" averages fewer than 10,000 viewers, according to Twitch's public data.

Is dropping on Xbox too. It now outside the top 10 (FH5 is still in top 10). It isn't surprising though. Lacks content. The BP is terrible. Progression is terrible. The Tenrai or what ever events are garbage and time gated progression. Cheating. Forced cross play.

Steam doesn't count all the Windows Store/PC Gamepass people.

There's no doubt they won't touch Apex/Warzone numbers on Twitch. BR games are just the only thing people watch other than GTA.

It is still one of the top 6 played games on Xbox behind all those games. GTA just never dies off. It is basically the 2nd highest non BR shooter along with COD. Non BR shooters just aren't "cool" nowadays but it has plenty of players.

Rockin' the top 4 on Xbox as of today, still.

That's as good as it is going to get for an arena shooter that half the younger gaming population learned about from their dads.
