If you’re just joining us, welcome! We’re glad to see you – and, we’d highly recommend checking out previous editions. So far, we’ve had the chance to chat with quite a few teams around 343, so be sure to get caught up and hear from them in their own words:

And, if you missed it, be sure to catch up on last week's Halo Infinite Multiplayer Reveal blog. (It's referenced a bit below, so make sure you're up to date with the latest.)

Let's be honest, Reach MP wasn't great. Spartan customization in Reach still the best in the series.

First season of Infinite being called "Heroes of Reach" means that we get every piece of armor from Reach 👍 (Maybe)

Phil addressed the lack of launch date. Said they’ve got it narrowed down to a 3-4 week period. Sounds like they’re waiting to see when CoD will launch.

Looking at the thumbnail makes me sad. The design philosophy behind the weapon vs Cortana is so boring. She is an AI that can look however she wants. How do you have a movement that glorifies sex work and slut walks, but then throws a fit if a woman isn't covered up and blocky looking? Yeah, I'm going there. There is too much noise around that issue to not have something to do with it. They've been throwing a fit over Cortana for a while.

Cortana looks much more dynamic, interesting, and Womanly, where the weapon looks like she works behind a desk. She should look like a frggin' flaming Valkyrie or something. Apparently Her job was to imitate Cortana in order to capture her, so why not look just like her then? I don't get the thinking behind such a design decision? I don't know, maybe it signifies her utilitarian purpose or something. Still boring.

Do wonder if it’ll replace up in multiplayer and have that feature set to down (on the d pad). It kinda makes sense too since it’s already in halo 5 campaign.

Witts describes the Mark System as “…a feature where players can mark a spot in the world that lets their teammates know vital information, like an enemy position or weapon location.” This is the first time Halo’s multiplayer will have a system like this, very likely inspired by games like Apex Legends and it’s Ping system.
