Ok! Little tip. Make sure you buy companion attacks and use them. Buy the ground combos first as I imagine, like me, most of your combos aren't in the air.

I unlocked this ability on like track 2. Only remembered them on Track 7, lol, but they make a difference. Getting more S ratings now.

I have a nice rhythm going of swapping between them during fights which basically results in me just about always having companion fighting with me

Well it is button prompts. It is B in rythm.
I would press the buttons but it would register as not pressing it in time . And it was really random how you could fail the same section of the sequence and let you pass it but then other times when you feel the exact same sequence it says you have to start all over it’s really annoying and random.

Also this game is a play anywhere title . you buy it on Xbox or Windows store you will have a copy on the other system

So I just learned parry. I am in training room 03, and these little drones come out of the walls and are shooting lasers at me. I am parrying them with perfect scores endlessly. But I keep losing my health and dying. Should I also be attacking them AND doing parry? I am not sure?

It isn't random, it just has a bit of a buffer. Timing for example has multiple grades, so you can press a little early.

Parry should block the damage . The little security bots that have lightening bolt sequence that u parry. You’re supposed to take no damage if u parry them

So something else must be damaging me then. Because I am doing perfect parry. So there are either guys behind me hitting me and I can't see them or I need take out those security bots while parrying them at the same time?

Sounds like it was made for GamePass???

When u first meet them. You fight them 1 on 1. So they’re shouldn’t be anyone else.

JinCA since you own a Series X and XB has no games, just curious if you’ve played this highly praised XB exclusive and your thoughts? Since you say you want to have grown up conversations.

I'm trying to do some bits post game and have been playing on easy. You do notice a lot more stuff going on a 2nd play.
It's beautiful.
I’m just on my first play through, just beat korsica, and there are moments where I just stop and stare at the all the art and animations…like how the shadows change style, from accurate to stylized with halftones and or cross hatching. There’s no gradients or blur as well. This took tons of inspiration from comics and followed spider-verse rule book in direction,

There are shadows in the game?

Yep….characters, in particular, have two that they project onto the world, one is clearly a circle to help with platforming sections.
I was kidding. But seriously, I don't even pay attention to that. I am too busy button mashing, in rhythm of course.
