So as I mentioned in another thread I sold a bunch of my consoles in prep for the next gen. The only one I didn't sell is an OG Xbox 360.

Annnnywaaay this beast is only good for component cables and man so they blow. I'm getting blurring at speed and pixelation like a brothel whore after a ship of Sailors pulled into port with their fists full of fifties.

But I digress. HDMI for the win f***ers.
 
I think it depends on your display. I've seen some component signals that can hang until you walk up a little closer to the screen.

Use VGA with your old Xbox 360 and thank me later :)

The hell...

I have a small Insignia LCD with Components and no HDMI. It's only about a 20" screen.

Possibly if Component is hooked to a big screen it's more noticeable.

You sir are my hero. I went and bought it tonight and the difference is like night and day. The lag is gone, everything is razor sharp and colourful and the blacks... oh my the blacks. * drools.
Thank you, you saved my Fifa 14 season.
 
I am yet to play a console with HDMI. I'm still using an old Xbox 360 with only component hookups. This next gen should be a treat.
