How is your pre-order payment and shipping?

I may be overreacting a little bit, but today is the day when Microsoft Store will start taking payments for Day One Edition. It seems like quite a few guys on this forum ordered the Day One Edition through MS Store, so I thought we might share how our payment is going, to check if there's no problem with payment whatsoever.

I will make things easier for you, I just got off the phone with the MS store and they told me the billing will start on the 15th but some people will get billed closer to the 22nd. I was told 19th-20th is when they ship is the day the will bill you.

I guess all the shippings are standard 3-5 days one? Guess it will make this thread relevant though.
 
It's kinda funny, when they sent out the email saying that we should verify our billing/shipping info to ensure there would be no issues, I got all paranoid and switched my payment method from PayPal to my actual card so that there was no chance of any snafus on PayPal's end. But then, they had to actually cancel my original preorder and create a whole new preorder and I got even MORE paranoid, but my order status is "In Process" so hopefully all is well.....
 
i ordered from Shopto, went into proccessing on tuesday, took my money..

according to email.. will dispatch thursday for a friday delivery by DPD(best delivery service UK) :D

I got mine through gamestop (only because I work there, Huge discount). The X-1s will start rolling in on the 19th.

Just bugs me that the main order lists as backordered. I ordered mine back in beginning of Aug and I've chatted with folks on the MS store site twice who said I was good but I'm still paranoid....lol.

That freaked me out as well; I placed my order as soon as it popped up on XBL so I knew it has to be an error. MS rep was pretty reassuring though.

my GameStop has them in already and has 6 extra.. that I know of [standard]
I know this because I talked to the manager
who will save one for me [launch day edition- just show up at 6pm Thursday].. so I plan on canceling my best buy order
but keep my amazon order
the amazon one will be mine
the GameStop one my brothers

so if you live in Orlando I will tell you the GameStop with the extra ones

I was getting frustrated with best buy when I asked when they charge your card , again, for online/store pick up orders
I was told, just about everything, including they charge the card when you pick it up
and its only 499, so I ask, no tax? aaarrgghhh

so then I asked the manager of my gamestop.. and I have been going there from way back when they were EB games and sold pc games.. I asked what time to wait in line.. but he said for me I did not have to worry.. but I still will get there early and wait. I guess it pays to be old!! lol

Pre-ordered from Amazon. Switched to 2 day delivery so my estimated date of arrival is next Friday. I have that weekend off too!

My payment is not taken, but based on my and you guys' experience I guess right now almost everybody's order is in process and is backordered. One thing I'm worried is, is your delivery date just November 2013 as well? Lack of any concrete date worries me.
 
Got 2 pre-ordered at Walmart. Going at midnight Thursday to pick them up. Hope I don't get robbed.
 
Account has been charge, but order still says back ordered and order status is in progress. Ordered from ms store on 6/12

Everything I ordered says Back Ordered, except for my extra controller, that says in process, but its said that for weeks now...

My card was not charged last night, it got charged at some point today, but it hasn't made it to my itemized list yet.

Preordered online via MS store 6/25, the charge just went through. Pre-order now paid off!
 
Mine says back-ordered as well. I don't think CS reps have ever been so quick to the phone haha.
 
Yeah mine still says Order in Process and I ordered it 6/12 like someone above.
 
ok now i am getting nervous

I did my pre order at the dashboard and people money are getting taken
