Update: Sony has swiftly responded to the Shacknews inquiry, noting that The Last Guardian has not been cancelled. Sony's Scott Rohde also responded publicly to the rumor on Twitter, noting that "The Last Guardian has NOT been cancelled."

I waited an entire generation for this game and it would be a huge bummer if it ends up being cancelled while crap like nba and cod get yearly releases met with good sales.
