Guess I’ll have to add this to the list of games I want to play at a later time. Some buds on a Discord keep gushing over it hearing good things.

For people complaining not going to be much at launch with these new consoles... I have too much to play and want to play.

So true! I’ve got a ton of games with Series X enhancements, but only one I’ve completed since launch is Gears 5.

Not sure why so many games have botched hdr today, this along with AC Valhalla, Cyberpunk, RDR2 and more.
Better they don't have it at all so I don't have to turn it off in xbox settings.

They fixed the visual bugs in Valhalla that made things looked washed out a couple weeks after release. It's been great in HDR since.

Well, someone (you?) said that the new update fixed hdr on Cyberpunk too, which they clearly didn't according to hdtest which is prob the most experienced techie on YouTube, so I'm going to have to do some digging before I believe you.
Rdr2 still doesn't show a true hdr picture without elevated blacks either.

Definitely wasn't me, I mentioned they made adjustments to it in the patch notes. It looks better on their default settings, particularly better than it looked at laucnh. I messed around with it quite a bit yesterday, but I'm back to SDR in Cyberpunk. What they did fix was the film grain and chromatic abberation, they no longer blur the image.

Fallout 76 is another game with fake HDR that looks waaaaay better in SDR. It's still a new enough technology, I think a lot of developers have a hard time with it. Looking forward to seeing what the Dolby Vision implementation is like in games when that comes.

Game is already like 40 or 60 percent off on MS store, tempted to check it out but might just wait a while.

Was thinking of getting it on sale, but think if I hold out longer it'll be free on Game Pass.

But when it's Free, assuming it happened, you may not have time to play. Due to the pandemic, & holidays, I have a lot of free time, & not much chance to got out, so it's the best time to play the games I want.

Not into the cartoony look of the characters though. Yes, I do play Fortnite & I draw Disney cartoons since a kid. The cartoon look of Immortal is just not pleasing. Despite what something, It actually requires skill & talent to make good cartoony character which is which Disney cartoon characters like the ones in frozen is so well-loved while some lower budget cartoons characters look groovy. A lot of artists sensationalize facial/body features, but good artists emphasizing/enhance features.

Hmm. Maybe something to represent Union. Someone that is red green blue for the 3 consoles. They could be unisex. Would work as an avatar. Could be holding a controller.

Got it myself along with Tomb Raider - Shadow of something....

Was able to get 5000 reward points too. This makes up for returning Cyberpunk, which I kept the reward points for.
