IP is owned by Sony, but from what I gather the original game still is contracted as exclusive to xbox?
Couldn't find info direct from Sony or MS, but MS might still hold publishing rights?
I took the trip to New Zealand so I could start playing today, love it! Great art style and fun gameplay. Story keeps you interested too. By a mile my favorite Ubisoft game this year
I think it is a nice game, but the characters are done pretty bad in my opinion. I think I made better-looking cartoon characters at high school than the devs.
Cartoon characters are more than big head & massive eyes.
People complain about Fortnite being cartoony, but it has the most aesthetically pleasing cartoon characters that aren't Anime.
Also, we are at era when there games use same animations (like running) of female and male characters. I know we are in "gender is a social construct era" (at least in USA) but there is a reasonable biological women move differently from men, Their legs are further apart. having a woman that moves like man is off pudding for people who know character animation.
Not saying all these are deal-breakers, I probably get the game somewhere along the line (probably on discount), but between AC, Diablo season 22, the upcoming Cyberpunk, there is just no time to add another game.

I'm playing it on PC via Ubisoft + account. Its really fun. Surprisingly so. I might go out and buy a copy when its all said and done.
I keep reading good things about this game. But I can't keep up with all the games I have right now so I'll have to wait on this one. Its fair to say I like Ubi open world games, picked up Legion which is a lot of fun and hooked on Valhalla. I really don't think releasing 3 games so close to each other was a smart idea.
Not in the least. At least playing on normal. It has a difficulty slider at the beginning of the game. Goes from Story, Easy, Normal, Hard and Nightmare.
I really want to play this on switch in handheld, but I only hear how gimped it looks in docked mode and almost nothing about handheld.... I played through Witcher 3 + all DLC on switch even as I had finished it twice on xbox/one X before and the graphics didn't bother me, at least not in handheld mode.
The game is more humorous than I thought it would be. Since Ubi became the studio of a million Assassin's Creed and Tom Clancy, I had forgotten that they have a humorous side.
My Home Xbox friend just bought it ... Not sure if I'll bother starting it before finishing AC Valhalla, I really wanted this on the switch instead.
