I liked the demo so I picked it up on the cheap for the PS5. I figure I could use another game in my rotation right now and this looked like fun. At first I didn't think this would be for me since it has a more lighthearted feel to it than I'm used to. But the demo sold me on the funny tone, tongue is firmly planted in cheek for this game. But combat was also fun, not sure how deep it gets but what I tried in the demo was fun. I've read this is a puzzle heavy game and I'm not sure how I feel about that. Its just not something I look for in my gaming but I'm willing to give it a go.

I didn't pay attention to this game and only today have been looking at reviews. Holy crap, this game is almost universally praised for what it does. One review said the puzzles were not to his liking but other than that I've seen nothing but positive comments from reviewers and gamers alike. I am glad I waited and was able to get in on sale but if I like it I'll get the DLC. I read there's one DLC episode that's centered around Chinese mythology which sounds great, that's really under used in today's gaming.
 
Hope they improve the character. I literally cannot play the game due to how awful the characters look.

This is the same problem with AC. Too many back to back. It loses it's appeal

While I would be interested in a new one, maybe not that soon. I didn't even bother with the DLC because I was ready to move on.

Good point. I too skipped the DLC as I was ready.
 
I wonder what happened with Ubisoft+ coming to Xbox? I was really interested in that, but many of the games I wanted on it are on or coming to GP anyway.
 
Maybe it was a blessing they canceled it. I personally think they should've stuck with more of what made the game a hit. I wasn't tired of the gameplay.

I agree. The changes they wanted to institute changed it from what gave the original game its charm.
