I feel like we need a general review thread, or at least divide them up by the month. Just my two cents after seeing six threads of similar concepts.

Agree. No need to post separate threads for every little game, many of which I've never heard of (I assume these are all indy or arcade titles). I've grouped them all into a single thread.
 
Anderson when you compile threads destroy the old anchor. Specifically in this instant those 4 links (which were moved into this thread) are an eyesore like we were hit by bots.

Also, intellivision - go play a game or something.

I wouldn't have put them together under Intellivision's name.

1) I kind of thought it was actual intellivision games.
2) We could've made something a little more general and easy to find.
3) Feels a tad bit like shaming which makes me feel guilty.

2. I could've made a more general thread for arcade review scores, but I don't want to start it off with an OP that is just a single link to metacritic ..
3. Shaming? Oh no, just poking a little fun at Intelly and giving Plainview a headache. :txbsmile:
 
I just hope consolewarz appreciates all the "facts" being shared here--he's always so eager to share his with us. In a completely above board, honest and unmalicious way of course. Afterall, facts are facts.
 
Fair enough Anderson for consolidating. I actually meant for each of them to be its own Official Discussion Thread with their reviews being the anchor post, but my titles were poorly written. No problem.
 
Well, the OPs had no detail at all, no description or pictures, not even a one-line intro, just a flat link to metacritic. That's not in the grand tradition of Official game discussion threads. Plus, they weren't attracting any discussion (still aren't, really). I didn't think they had enough "meat" to be threads on their own. They probably still don't, even combined.

In the future, someone might want to put together a real, solid official thread for discussion of PS4 indy/arcade games, like we had at TXB (although that one might've been Xbox-centric?).

If you want, this thread is all DLC/Indie PS4 games anyway. So you might want to just rename it Official PS4 Downloadable Games Thread. Or something like that.

Although every game is now downloadable, I think most gamers would get the hint this thread means these types of games and not typical AAA disc $60 games.
 
Nah, these posts, like I said, are too sparse to serve as a kick-off for an Official Discussion Thread. Needs more gifs, description. Plus it's off to a bad start, with most of the focus being on the thread-starter rather than the subject (I'll take some responsibility for that). Anyhow, it would need a much better setup to be an official thread for the ages.

Whatever happened to Ajinryu? I think that's how it's spelled.

He had some sick ass non-Xbox centric gaming reviews at TXB
