Activision's Destiny may be the fastest-selling new intellectual property in North America and UK, but the top of the puppy pile in Europe remains Watch Dogs, according to Ubisoft. A spokesperson for the company informed MCV UK of GFK data that...

By week three with watch dogs i was still having fun by this time with HALO D i'm only play to run with friends. Watchdogs is the better game IMHO.

I'm still playing Destiny every day, I traded watch dogs in by this point. Watch dogs was a good game not great and it fell short in so many areas. I would also point out that watch dogs was also available on 5 platforms at launch (PC) while Destiny was available on 4.

I didn't think Watch Dogs was that bad. I'm sure i'll enjoy it more once i get it for the Xbox One.

Just shows sales have nothing to do with a good game, neither are impressive and scored about the same on metacritic. I'd like to know WD's budget, I'm betting it wasn't 500 million.

Various articles indicate the massive budget was to create the framework for destiny, but not games to come. No article states that number will be used to fund full games in the future.
This can be said about any new franchise, you build an engine and the framework and then the sequels come from that foundation. Watch dogs is now a franchise according to ubisoft and it cost them less than 80 million to build their foundation, which is a ton, but not 500 million.

I'm going to have to say for me personally, Destiny is the better game. I spent more time playing Destiny than WD.

Doesn't that 500 million for Destiny include marketing and isn't just about the money spent on development?

Jesus f***ing Christ people are f***ing dumb deaf and blind. Bungie already said it was NO WHERE NEAR 500 million.

I'm glad both new IPs have done well. Both were underwhelming for my gaming taste but it's still good to see new IPs thrive.

So because it was the best selling new IP in Europe (not North America or UK) that means it was as hot as Destiny? Don't get me wrong both games did really well and that's a good thing.

Sure they do as many people this its a great game.

Millions love COD as well, many examples of this. Btw do you ever proofread your posts? Ever? They only makes sense about half the time grammatically.
