That wasn't him. I have no idea what you are referring to and it's just a bit of fun as this topic has gone a little flat.
You know, I commented earlier on Kassen's talent for roping people into long, endless debates that go nowhere and just get stupider and stupider. I didn't realize it had been going on in this thread since page one. I was thinking of other conversations, like several that must've left Qbert banging his head against the wall.

Yes it was him. He's banned several people for not being left wing extremists. He's made this forum very hostile towards intellectual discussion.

Only a small number of people have been banned from here and all to do with constant trolling towards consoles or games or for flat out insulting other users.

Not a permanent ban but banned a couple times for trolling and baiting PS fans.

I think astro disappeared before we established Union, didn't he? [edit: No, I am wrong. I remember now. I went after him pretty aggressively and repeatedly banned him, in the early days. So, due credit to the "PS mod" for taking him on. Not that the other mods approved of his behavior, but I was the one who took the lead.]
I agree that more PS guys are banned than Xbox guys. I'd estimate it's 80/20. Not that we've perma-banned many recently, but just thinking back over the course of things. Yoyo, This Hard Land, Consolewarz, Jackie, another guy whose name escapes me ... all PS guys. There were some on the Xbox side (Astro, maybe another), but it's been mostly PS guys.
I think there are two factors involved. One is that PV is an Xbox guy, and he's the one who hands out the perma-bans. If you get into conflict with him and repeatedly get on his nerves, you're going to get the boot. And PS fanboys are more likely to get on his nerves than Xbox fanboys, and so they're more likely to get the boot.
Second factor is, there's something about it being an Xbox-dominant site, I think it may be attractive to some PS guys who like to play the angry outsider, be aggressively argumentative, stir up sh*t. So I think that contributes, too. Most of the PS guys I mentioned seemed to fit that profile -- they enjoyed being the outsider and standing up against the powers that be (which in this case is MS/Xbox, also PV). Sort of a "troublemaker" personality style.

OWAN/JF/Smilebit/Consolewarz banned and Sony fans.
They weren't fans they were trolls. Pretty sure Andy banned a couple of them. Not that it matters cause if it was like you claim you would be banned.
All of those listed had multiple chances to change and got temp bans but they carried on.
Yes it is. Stop trolling. Or being ignorant. All science is peer reviewed to be valid. And no one but NASA has ever been to the moon with a manned spacecraft. It's your own fault you can't accept anything outside your worldview and use logic.
Only the trolls have been banned. This forum evolved from Team Xbox so naturally you'd expect more true Xbox fans and people who like to troll Xbox gamers. I'd argue that most of the people left in these forums who prefer Xbox want to talk games and services...and not about how much PlayStation sucks.
Wasn't THL banned for posting porn pics and so on?
Jackie was also banned for non gaming reasons?

You need to look up trolling cause you see anything negative towards things you like as trolling.
