Yeah, based on the demo this is more akin to Dark Souls 3 than Elden Ring. More linear but the world is seemingly seamless giving it a big world feel.
Yep and one review said the later bosses are really hard so it's either keep trying or restart/Give up as you can't go off and level up before trying again.
I don’t mind I’d there is a “normal” non “pull your hair” mode, like for steel rising.
Steel rising has a lot of accessinility modes, include less damage from enemies which is a bar slider & you can go up to 90% or so damage reduction.
Also allow you NOT to lose "souls" when at checkpoints.
I picked only the latter (no "souls" lost on death) & the game was very playable.
I played a few 2D soul style games which was far harder than typical soul games, as area to dodge is far less in 2D plane.
The dodge than attack technics that worked for 90% of 3D soul games encounter doesn't exist since there is no left /right in 2D games.
The hardest boss I played however is still uber Lilith in D4. Took me 300 tries and multipla setups and gears change to beat her. But uber Lilith is optional boss for the die hard rpg gamer. I am pass spend hours on single bosses in a game.
My day work is stressful enough.
Edit: No accessibility options in this game. Hard pass then. A shame.
