If it was involuntary -- for example, if you were in the hospital, or if you were deployed, or if someone peed on your console and you couldn't afford a new one -- never mind that; I'm not talking about situations like that. I'm talking about times when you could've played games but chose not to, for whatever reason.
I'm also talking about breaks you took since you became a serious, "core" gamer. I'm not talking about, for instance, the years between playing Nintendo as a kid, followed by many years of not playing, and then later getting into gaming as a serious hobby as an adult. That's not the kind of break I'm talking about. I'm talking about breaks since you've become seriously interested in the hobby.
So, what's the longest time you've gone without gaming? I seem to be on a hiatus myself right now, running a little over two months. So, I'm just curious about other people's experiences.
