So anyone seen this yet please? Heard it’s a combo of horror, comedy and a superhero movie so I am interested to hear peoples thoughts.
watched a few reviews and sounds a mixed bag but I def wanna check it out.

Honestly hope whatever you read didn't give away much. All I'll say is I went in nearly blind thinking it was going to be your standard James Wan movie, but yea no chance. Loved it.

I was into it till the reveal then lost interest. It did have two really cool action scenes after the reveal you’d probably really enjoy considering your line of work.

Just got back from watching this. I actually really enjoyed it. And yeah the scene in the police station was sick.
I’d say this is more action horror, and more akin to anime than anything else, meaning lots of Japanese animation have crazy twisted plots like this that are not out of place in the anime genre but people not used to watching similar shows will be like ‘wtf did I just watch’

I like the pacing (kinda fast) which definitely isn’t anime inspired, otherwise we’d get lots of filler and verbal exposition….it’s like a John Wick horror flick.

I don’t want a sequel but a series might be kinda cool

Yes. To me it had the feel of an adaptation of a manga or anime series with the action, gore, and bizarre plot.

Yeah I said the same above. I felt it was closer to an anime than anything. If you watch anime this didn’t seem too far fetched
