I think most comics and forms of art have always been more than what people know or think they are. It’s like the first X-men movie or Detroit become human or even Superman. People will hang on to what’s familiar to them and don’t like the new change. lol I’ve seen it with my nieces, my older niece was like “omg, what have they done to rainbow dash” when she saw my youngest niece watch the new “my little pony” series, she pretty much said “that’s not my ‘my little pony” and they’re only size years apart, I think, maybe five I was like “ayo, it’s existed before you were even born, your mums version was different too, let her enjoy her show”I enjoyed it, was not happy with how my favorite character
I think anyone who was worried it was going to be "woke" should give it a shot, it really isn't and if we are being honest the original cartoon was semi woke before the term even existed.storm lost her powers but I'm going to assume that's temporary
True, but no one in their right mind can say the new characters looks better than the original... the style comes down to preferences, but the lack of detail doesn't, it looks worse than the original.I think most comics and forms of art have always been more than what people know or think they are. Haven’t watched it yet, can’t say if it has more detail or not, I feel like th og one has very little actual detail, they seem to rely more on shadows than to add to its look. The new Tmnt has a purposeful as to why it looks the way it does, and I like it cos I can relate, cos I like sketch style art, like that found in the Metal Gear Solid art work.True, but no one in their right mind can say the new characters looks better than the original... the style comes down to preferences, but the lack of detail doesn't, it looks worse than the original.
Same with TMNT, very few of the new series that matches the detail of the 89 original.
But yeah, when you get older you tend to dislike when familiar things you love gets changed, like your testicles start hanging more than when you where a teen.
