I got in and played a few matches, sadly my pup got neutered yesterday so I will have to spend most of the day keeping an eye on him but what I played I liked a lot. Sadly with online only stress tests and betas you don't get time to check the moves much etc. I really liked how Baraka and Scorpion played, haven't tried skarlet yet
Crazy thing is he just wants to play lol, he's got his e collar on and is banging that into everything but he still wants to play. I also can't believe how big the brat is already, he's not even six and a half months old yet but weighed in at 66lbs yesterday. He's already slightly bigger than my nearly 2 year old female and he's been wanting to play with her like crazy, I'm having to make her stay outside during the day to keep them apart.
I watched the Geras thing again. That approaches HELLRAISER level sh;t.
I wonder if it's possible Pinhead could guest in this? I think I meantioned this already, but after seeing Geras' 2nd Fatality it really makes me wonder.
I don't normall picture him as a direct fighter, but he could be given a gameplay style mix that replaces both Quan Chi and Ermac. He could hover about sort of like Dr. Fate with similar weird hand gestures using a mix of sorcery blast effects, chains, saws, or summoning other Cenobites or demons. Instead of Dr. Fate's Ahnk imagery we'd of course see many referencing to the Puzzle Box Cube or even The Leviathon.
His presence could be tied in with The Netherrealm; the Cenobites as next level Revenants.

I do wonder how they'll work in guest characters with the gear system, all DLC characters get the same treatment as the main roster. Like if it's Michael Myers what will they do for gear? knives? different looking masks from different movies? hair on the mask? lol it makes it kind of hard for some of the guest characters people have been talking about to fit.
There is going to be a kombat-kast this Wednesday with two character reveals, they hinted that one was Kotal Kahn who was in the story trailer but not sure if the other is Liu, Kung Lao, Kitana or someone else.

Kotal looks badass, so does Jacqui and I hated her in the last game.

I know they toned down the sexy stuff in the last game too but that pic is funny. It just shows how over the top the 2009 game was with the bewbs lol.
Trailer for the beta that anyone who pre-ordered gets access to. They are adding Kabal and Jade to the playable roster in addition to Scorpion, Skarlet and Baraka. Looks like the klassic single player tower is going to be available as well.
Noob Saibot confirmed and Shang Tsung will be the first DLC character. The actor who played Shang in the original movie is voicing him and they scanned his face (and aged him)
