NBA 2K14 PS4 screenshots and vid

Makes me think back to when the first current gen NBA 2k game came out and people were saying how real it looked and at the time it did compared to what it was replacing. Now we have a new gen coming and it looks far more real than even the newest NBA 2k, I'm not even a basketball fan but I may end up picking this up. I do hope they have a demo of it online once the PS4 launches.
Yeah, same for GT back on PS1. People said it looked photo realistic

Looks great. I've been playing 2k basketball games since 2k on the Dreamcast. Been waiting for this day when the game looks and plays life like.
Looks good but on the side camera view it doesnt look that different to me, the lighting is the most noticeable.
That's just inherent of how sports games are. You reduce down the heads they're gonna look pretty close to this gen.
I want the clone crowds to be gone for good in sports games and the janky animation in some areas and the ice skating

I watch this video and I want it again but I cannot get over just how bad the Xbox 360 version of NBA 2K14 played. It's just so difficult and I didn't find the gameplay to be very well done. A part of me says It's a launch title it's going to be a better looking port but then you hear new engine, new game and It makes me want to get it. It's the best looking available at launch on either console in my opinion.
Like Jaydee said above If I can get the Target deal I will get this for sure as my freebie. can we expect reviews before release?
Not impressed either since the main game is pushing small characters down the screen and it's static court. Nothing special really IMO.
Did you not play the other NBA 2K games? I see nothing difficult about 2K14 and the gameplay is miles better then 2K13.
well obviously it's not the type of game you play. Do you expect a basketball game to have moving grass and explosions happening?
What is up with all the next gen sports games...there is a serious lack of detail and gameplay videos considering how close we are to launch. I am pretty sure from all hands on accounts and screens I am going to pick up NBA2K and Forza but still.
definitely passing on the EA current gen boosters - FIFA and Madden...next gen my ass. The only thing interesting from EA on next gen is Battlefield and NFS. From the little that has been released of NBA Live sounds like it might be focusing on playing a better game of basketball - then again, they might just be playing the 'gameplay over graphics' card because its so fugly to begin with.

I need to see a bit more about how this game plays and career/franchise mode options, but I'm starting to lean heavily towards picking this up.
I highly doubt they made this off a new engine. I still the Lamb thinking he's a superstar and the CPU wanting to attack the paint a lot. The gameplay still looks like current gen 2k14 after watching this video and others.

I've just realized you can't play online with 2k14. Is there a reason why? I was quite looking forward to this aspect of the game.
