The vid itself hasn't been released yet but here are a couple pics:

Earlier today AMD released a new image which is a teaser for an upcoming all new tech demo to show off the capabilities of the CryEngine with the character of Ruby. The CryEngine demo will utilize TressFX Tech.

Things look pretty awesome based on the images they’ve released, although until the actual tech demo itself is debuted any comparison or judgement on increase in quality will largely be speculation.

However, this is not the first Ruby tech demo that we’ve seen from AMD. There have been a number of screenshots and videos centering on Ruby that they’ve released in the past. So once this one hits the scene, we’ll really be able to see just have far AMD has advanced over time. Obviously the previous Ruby tech demos were not powered by the CryEngine, so these results hope to be very promising.

That girl's face looks really weird, especially if you go to the pic in the link. lol.

Off topic. Am I the only one when you see a person with Blood red hair, you want to (jokingly) ask them, how is Ronald McDonald doing these days.

Looks fine with me. I am happy they do not try to make the 'perfect' looking girl.

Damn, make me wonder if I should upgrade my rig, instead of getting a next gen console.

I'm just a sucker for anything neon/cyberpunk. Need to see this in motion...and I like the face. Looks more real and rounded rather than the sharp facial features most females (and males for that matter) in games have.

Looks fine to me. I'm just glad they didn't make Ruby some blonde a-typical broad with massive tits. I like redheads more anyway.

Can't believe you guys never heard of Ruby. Ruby is to AMD/ATI what The fairy girl is to Nividia.

She has been around for a long time, & always red haired, & yes, also the mold on her upper left lips. Which is why I said earlier that she gets better with age.

U guys just made my day TD and Val ... As long as we get anywhere close to that ill be more than happy. I just need to change my TV tho ... still using a 7 year old CRT HD Prepared TV with HDMI (i know weird) i mean this thing shows no jaggies at all whatsoever, only thing i hate is the extreme downscaling and i can only play on 1080i max.

How long until games can get to this quality? Probably at least another few years, yeah?

I don't see the new consoles putting out graphics like this in the future at all, unless it's some hack and slash game with a fixed camera angle like God of War. I do see this happening on the PC though.

This is a tech demo for AMD's new PC GPUs.

Only because the recognition isn't focused on the PC platform.
No because you can't just compare TF's.
Saying not recognized is a excuse man.
You are dissing the formats that will put out the best visuals.
Nothing on the PC looks better then Dark Sorcerer or Quantum Break no matter how much spinning or excuses you throw.

Those games aren't released yet but I am sure they will not be as good looking as Crysis 3. Wasn't impressed by the bullshots that were released.

That's something we will have to wait and see. Deep Down looked amazing when it was first presented and look at its current progress. It doesn't look as good as the first time it was shown. I am not dissing the formats in anyway.

As for recognition, it's no excuse. Come on, could we recall Crysis getting recognition for best looking game of the year among all platforms? Same with Crysis 3, which is arguably the best looking game today?

^They will be the best looking games when released.
Current champs Metro LL and Crysis 3 will lose the titles.
I think it's still a bit too early to pull the trigger on saying this until those games are out. Any dev can show amazing looking graphics at E3. We'll have to wait and see what they actually look like on consoles.
