New Assassin's Creed Leaked - Code Name "Victory"

I think Unity is the best AC since AC2 and spinoffs. Excited for the next as I like the new changes in gameplay. This would be a great setting.

I'd also like to see some alternate timelines like steampunk, gothic, etc...

Wait, do you really think they're throwing these games together that fast? (although, with the state of Unity I guess it's not that preposterous an idea, haha) For real though, Ubi Montreal has multiple teams. They work on multiple games at once, even multiple AC games within Ubi Montreal for a while (I think they started making AC 3 after AC2, brother hood & revelations were more iterative follow ups that didn't take as much time). This is just how leap-frog development works. Quebec has been working on Victory since before Unity came out with all it's issues (a lesson I hope they learn from before release, obvi...)

Ubi's Quebec studio has been working on Victory for more than a year though, I think they started not long after AC3, because the producer on that game is the head of the Quebec studio now... Montreal's AC team is (hopefully) fully dedicated to fixing unity as quebec is working on this....

Truth. Hell, I think Unity has been in development for 4 years. It's issues are understandable, imo, given that they probably had half the game made before they even knew the final spec for these machines.

Is it really understandable ? I mean they still made concious choices that directly affect the performance of the game. They crammed thousands of NPC's on screen just to have a bullet point. All that AI and all those objects eat away at the finite power these consoles have. Would 5-10% less NPc's really have made a big difference to the experience ?

Understandable? Sure, but that doesn't mean it was the best decision/outcome. I'd accept a slight drop in NPCs, especially when it's not like it's a standard for the series.
