New MLB The Show 14 screens

I really hope this game is not ruined by micro-transactions. :(

Not sure if noted already but according to PS Store May 6 is the release date. My body is ready.

Micro-transactions never bothered me in any game I have played. They have ALWAYS been optional, unless of course it was a F2P. I was still able to accomplish what the micro-transaction offered through in game avenues. Never spent a dime.
 
I have to say at times it looks almost real, especially from the camera angle looking over the pitchers shoulder.
 
Animation is not great and the aliasing is very noticeable. Not really impressed graphically, but at 1080p 60fps I'm still excited to get my hands on this.
 
My comp has a hard time running 1080p videos so I generally watch in 720p, when I watched it in 720 I did notice the aliasing but when I tried it in 1080 it was much better.
 
The PS3 version already looks amazing. But the PS4 version isnt quite the jump in visuals that I expected.
 
I don't know, 10 times the polygons along with a lot of other improvements doesn't seem like an obvious cross gen title to me. I'm not buying it anyway, I hate baseball but I do think it looks amazing graphically.
 
Although Baseball is not my thing, I think the graphic looks great. Had the animation run smoothly (I did see few "jerky" animation here and there), it'd be the most realistic baseball game at the moment.

Does The Show have any competition? I think is the most realistic by default.
 
Some of the animations are still stiff, but the game looks really impressive.
 
After watching IGN's videos, I'm getting hyped for the game.

I haven't bought a baseball game in a few years.
 
Love the animations and lighting, makes the game look really natural.

150k polygons max on PS3 for stadium and over 1 million polygons already for the PS4 version - from the video.
 
So yeah, getting this game. Think we'll have enough takers to do an online league or whatever it's called if they have one?
 
The game looks great, but I would be lying if I said the animations look fluid. I think maybe by MLB 16, they will get the kinks out. I am sure it's hard to do because baseball players are moving constantly. Does this game run at 60 fps?
