Next Gen Backwards Compatibility, Are You More Likely To Upgrade Day One?

Absolutely. This is especially important for those on a budget since it allows them to trade-in their old console without skipping a beat.

The question is sort of confusing, but I'm a day 1 buyer with or without BC, but it is definitely a nice thing to have. It obviously gives me the option to sell/re-purpose my old console (like put it in a bedroom or something) and the obvious convenience of only having one system (or 2, one of each).

I actually would have held off for a little bit if they didn't have backwards compatible. My backlog is too big. Knowing that it's there means I upgrade right away
