The second I heard it compared to a souls game, it flew off my radar.
Elder ring would've been a better game (for me) if they had a less hard mode. Grinding the same bunch of enemies to level up isn't a mechanic worthy of the 2000s imo.

Yeah. I mean not every game is gonna be for everyone and I think that’s ok. I’m not good at video games but am able to enjoy the Souls games, although I haven’t beaten elden ring yet. Waiting on the dlc.
They do take a certain persistence and patience regardless though… curious to see how much Souls dna is actually in No Rest for the Wicked.
I'm looking forward to it but I do hope it's not as annoying as Elden Ring was.
Doesnt sound like any death penalty ala collecting souls/corpse runs etc, either.
Love the art style. No sure about the gameplay just yet.
