I wonder if the 60 fps is the reason why the ps4 version of TR sold twice as much as the Xbox one version.

TitanFall will no doubt move more consoles, but it won't turn around the sales in Xbox's favor, it'll just lower the gap. Microsoft isn't going to turn this thing around until they reinvent their strategy and lower the price.
I'm sorry Microsoft, but the Kinect experiment has failed. I guarantee 90% rarely use it, if at all. It's nice to have, but outside voice commands, it's just a big hulking unused piece of very expensive unproven technology.
The f*** you talking about. PS4 just sell cause they're rare? If they had more out they may have sold far more then they did already.
Does anyone think Titanfall is really going to sell a ton of consoles to people who didn't want to buy it for a new COD or BF game? it's a $500 console so it's likely going to be hard to have a sci fi shooter sell consoles to people who aren't the most hardcore and most of those people probably already have an X1. It may see a slight spike but the fact that it's a new IP also available on PC and 360 leads me to think it won't help sales in a meaningful way, at least not to the extent some people seem to think it will.
Digital sales on the Xbox One would probably pull those numbers closer together. Not completely but I think it would be appreciably closer.
Well if anything it just shows how fickle gamers are and led by PR. First everyone loved the PS2, then the 360, now we're back to the PS4? All for what? Because of a little bad PR by Microsoft this time around? It's ridiculous how people allow themselves to be led by corporations instead of just choosing what they like.
If you like the PS4 more than the Xbox One, good for you. There's nothing wrong with that. I feel like the Xbox One is going to have the better games and that's evident by Microsoft's amazing launch lineup on the One. Titanfall is just a little fish in a big pond in the grand scheme of things. Yet, it's still a bigger release than the PS4 will have in the next year or so.
The people who bought call of duty and battlefield bought for last gen consoles. It's sad to see so few people online in cod on X1.

Titanfall was delayed for 360 right? It might actually do something as a result. But yea I foresee a good 70% of Titanfall's sales on Xbox 360 with 29% on XBO and 1% on PC.

Yeah, i got you. So when Xbox fans say don't count your chickens before they hatch are PS fans going to be hypocrites and make fun of them? That's what PS fans did all last gen and the PS3 eventually caught up to the 360 in sales. So it's only fair that we wait and see what happens this gen right?
Oddly enough, X1 has had a higher software attach ratio over PS4 since day 1 despite being $100 more. You'd think with the extra money, they would buy more games. Yet, X1 costs $100 more and actually has a higher attach ratio. Go figure.
Which basically proves that the Xbox brand is still the go to brand for most gamers. The only way you can explain the attach rate being higher on the X1 while selling less consoles is that people are buying the PS4 as a media machine or something. It just doesn't add up.

No, because if they don't care about graphics as much they can get it on 360 and if they do care about graphics they can get it on the much more powerful PC platform.
So to those that bought a PS4 because it's more powerful, has better versions of ALL multiplat titles and is $100 cheaper you say "Stop being led by corporate PR". No, I think what you mean is "Why are you listening to Sony PR over MS PR?".
And again, RE: Titanfall, it's coming to two other platforms so it's hardly a big get for the XB1 over the PS4 when it can be had on two other platforms, one which is cheaper and the other which is far more powerful and versatile.
It is different. Microsoft was ahead of Sony in every way possible last gen. Better controller, innovation with achievements, the cutting edge service of Xbox Live. The PS3 was an absolute disaster at launch. It took Sony 3 years to even begin to counter what the 360 was offering and it never caught up in terms of features.
This gen is totally different. Both Microsoft and Sony are on equal ground now. Similar specs, both have great controllers. Achievements and trophies are going strong and so much more. It's absolutely foolish to call this race over. Last gen, the race was for better or worse over before it started. Sony made a nice run to pull even at the end but it was too late in many gamers eyes.

I think that is largely due to Xbox One actually having good launch exclusives. Dead Rising and Forza >>>>> Killzone and Knack.
I will stick with my guess if the sale difference continues to widen.
