Numbers Discussion V3

You will have to go back in the search feature here and find the numerous posts that have covered this. You have asked this question multiple times here over the years, and the links and responses are here. I am not going to do the search for you, only to be asked yet again in a year to do the same search for you.

And yet noone can answer it off the top of the head. Interesting...

  • Really?

Was covered before but because the preorders just opened up so you would see it higher on the charts that way as the earlier preorders have been spaced out over time. Of course, none of the Xbox fans covering this would say that 😉

Because he’s trolling with the same stuff over and over again while playing dumb. So tired of this 🤡 time for him to get another break from this forum.

Or it's because PS people want the game. Of course, no PS fans would mention this.

MAU is more important to me than revenue for a corporation.

Both important. No sales = no company.

No MAU's = no community.
Only one of those is important to me (and most others). I don't pay attention to the revenue that is generated by:

  • Whirlpool (my dishwasher, stove and fridge)
  • LG (my TV)
  • Fluance (my vinyl player)
  • Sony (my receiver, my PS5)
  • BMW (my car)
  • Veridian Homes (my house)
  • Jeep (my wife's car)
  • Chevrolet (my Corvette)
  • Apple (my iPhone, Airpods, Macbook)
  • Microsoft (my Xbox)
  • Toro (my snow blower and mower)
  • Trek (my bike)
  • Express (some of my clothing)
  • Kroger (my clothing)
So no, sales are not important to not only just me, but the vast majority of the world don't care about the revenue a company makes that they buy products from.

Lies ! I see you post those MS numbers every fiscal quarter 😛

Capcom and Sega showing great business strategies recently.

Them and Nintendo are the direction the rest should be following IMO. Well ran companies.
No overblown budgets that we games needing to sell 8m+ at full price to have a chance of making a profit.

Rebirth, according to Famitsu confirmed sell-through is between 60% to 80% of shipment. Meaning they are at least 20%-40% of copies still on shelves. This will take a while to clear.

You know what that series will probably sell really well on? Switch 2 or whatever they end up calling it.

And pc, maybe get there with Xbox. But if they advertise it for all platforms (like the market it with “the trilogy arrives” or “comes home”) at once it could stir up more sells and reinvigorate the fandom/community…maybe add new outfits.

They’re just refined remakes and sequels of their own IP. Granted some have never been played outside the base they were developed for, like the vita/psp, and I appreciate them for it. Not many am I interested in, but I know people who do, and they’ve been meaning to try it.
