NVIDIA announces GTX Titan X -- 12GB of VRAM

I pity the filthy peasants that can't afford the Titan X. ;p

Seriously though, I really "need" to upgrade from my GTX 670.

Almost ordered 2 but the prices in Canada are getting insane they come to $1525 each after tax, ill guess ill have to pass that is just too much,
Ill wait and see how 390x plays out and then decide.
Just can't justify extra $2k after selling my 2x980 for 25-35% extra performance :(

You running them in SLI ? seems a bit excessive.

To be honest with you, I can't even find Titan X's, not on newegg, not on tigerdirect, not on microcenter.

f*** it I'm all in....

I just ordered 2 Titan X's from geforce.com and 2 EK water blocks :txbcool::txbcool:
Please give feedback & benchmark after you set it up!

My 2 weeks old 970GTX looks like antique now.....lol

4k just became last gen.
Sweet jesus will you let the rest of the planet catch up first before dropping a nuke.

I'm going to be buying a 3rd monitor for Nvidia surround, the trick is finding a matching 3rd monitor now >_<, Titans should be here mid week, the water blocks I have no idea as they are coming from Slovenia as that is where EK is located and my US watercooling shops don't have Titan X blocks in yet.

I will have a unused GTX 780 Ti sitting around however.

Nvidia GeForce GTX Titan X SLI Benchmarks

Performance that will make you see double
So you might have heard that Nvidia released the GeForce GTX Titan X video card yesterday. It's the fastest single-GPU card on the planet (though not the fastest single card, because of the dual GPUs in the Titan Z and the Radeon R9 295X2). Maybe most people would be satisfied with the benchmarks of a single Titan X, but we're not most people. So we called a guy who knows a guy, and we acquired a second Titan X. The things we do for you people!

Ugh...........I checked my email this morning and apparently Titan X's on now on backorder, this makes absolutely no sense as they are still orderable without a "out of stock" notice on geforce.com. I am thinking about canceling and just saying F-it. It would save me a large chunk of money. I was sitting here wondering why my order was still in processing.

A case of geforce under estimating demand while over estimating supply?

I guess so, I am gonna reject the shipment of the EK waterblocks and have them sent back and get my money back. Honestly it's probably for the best.

It was hard to get my Titan SC when it 1st came out.
I think they are limited at 1st.

Well it would have been nice to know if they were back ordered, nvidia kinda screwed me on this. Honestly I'm debating on Getting a R9 295X2 as they can be had for like 650 dollars these days..
