I think there is another video prior to this one, showing the bikers being complete ass clowns. It looks clear to me that they were harassing the driving before brake checking him. If it was me I'd be plowing over any a******s that tried attacking me as well.

I've read that one of the bikers (not the brakechecker) is in a coma and paralyzed.

From what I've heard bikers are being charged not the guy driving the SUV

Wish my state allow us to carry an unconcealed gun in the car because I would have pulled the trigger if someone tries to get into my car.

I heard this as well.

Why so many bikes? Guido fest somewhere?
Apparently they are a biker gang called "Hollywood Stuntz" and they had been trying to shut down a highway so that they could have it to themselves to do some stunts or whatever. I guess they had been terrorizing cars all day and police had set up check points to try to stop them in other places.

Is there video of what precipitated this?Taken as it is from this, the bikers look like a bunch if ass hats, not to mention videoing themselves and uploading it to the net...

Well they got what was coming to them then, if that's the case. They're lucky that's all the guy in the SUV did.

The guy lives in my neighboring city and that's unfortunate for him. No sympathy from me.

Right. That's terrible and I wouldn't wish that on anyone, but you know what they say about Karma.

Those guys on the bikes are so cool and hardcore! #XhardcoreX

But seriously, the SUV driver kept very cool. I'm ashamed to say I'd have probably caused a bit more damage had I been the SUV driver.

Haha, yeah there's no way I could have kept my cool in that situation.

I would plowed through them and then with them chasing me I would have sideswipped them off the road, anything to protect my family. Even watching the video again you can see that one driver being a douch trying to brake check the SUV..while looking right at it. He could see the SUV wasn;t going to stop in time and pretty much let himself get hit.

Quads on the highway, theres something you don't see everyday. I love how none of these guys have plates on their bikes either.

The story is being very misrepresented by most media outlets. We can all admit to a moment of road rage so its not a biker problem. Apparently the SUV cut off and was trying to weave in between the bikers. So the guy in the silver bike goes in front of him an brake checks him. Something Im sure alot of us here are guilty of. And get this straight that there is no such thing as a "fender bender" when a bike is involved. Obviously all of the bikers friends are going to stop after their friend is RUN OVER in the middle of a highway. The driver gets skittish and drives over multiple bikes/riders nearly flipping his SUV. Now the situation is a hit and run. The bikers take chase to stop him where he runs over a SECOND bike/rider on an exit ramp. Did he deserve to be ripped out of his vehicle and beat up? Absolutely not. Should have he left the scene of an accident and continued to run after striking another bike? Absolutely not. A few stitches for the SUV driver being discharged the same day is nothing compared to what the guy that was on the bike is dealing with.

Ive never owned or rode a bike on the road but understand the "mob mentality" as Ive done plenty of convoys whether it was a cruise night in classic cars or 4 wheeling trip in pick ups. Do I think they would have done the same thing to him though when they had their first accident? Not at all although Im sure it still would have been an unpleasant experience.

Just should point out that the SUV driver is not having any charges put against him by the NYPD, while one biker has been arrested and they are looking for 2 more.
