got abit bored so decided to try out the snipers.. not too bad for playing with a sniper proper for the first time :txbcool:

 
I finally started using sniper rifles as well when the last dlc released, Dibils. I use them with max of 4x scopes though, to not have the annoying scope glint.
 
Tell you what. Just got the deagle pistol this weekend. One of the hardest assignments I have done in a battlefield game. My stats took a beating. It was so frustrating I was literally seeing red but God it was so worth it. 150 kills in a little less than an hour already its better than most primary weapons.

I can only imagine the amount of spamming that will be going on with the new, one shot kill, rail gun. Wait. A rail gun? good good job dice. Smh
 
It only has one shot, so there can't be that much "spamming". They already had one shot kill sniper rifle and rocket launcher pickups, not really a big deal.
 
Big difference . Those "one shot" sniper rifles are a pick up weapons only. Not a primary weapon you can use the entire duration of the match. 2nd, according to level caps review video the rail gun has 0 bullet drop and auto lock on and can even do damage to vehicles. go to his you tube channel and watch him use it during a live match. And it's not one shot. Just one shot at a time. Meaning no different then not having a straight pull bolt.
 
They said in a lot of the videos they are still tweaking the damages. I think some of it is a bit over-powered, but a lot of the guys on YouTube who flew out to play the new map and/or play the CTE servers are saying DICE is still balancing things. Take that with a grain of salt I guess because DICE always seems to make things too strong or way too nerfed after that. Not sure how much I want hover tanks & railguns either. I say just make separate games or a map or two like that. I think Premium is the best value out there, but sometimes I feel like each map pack is so segmented in what it contains. I'd rather have "straight across the board" type of updates.

Regardless, they are doing a HUGE console patch in late September that should make the game a lot better. PC is getting it too.

So Ive been busy with work, kids etc and havent played BF4 since last winter. I was only a level 33 when I picked it up again this week. I have to say the Last Stand map pack has hands down the best maps in the entire BF series IMO. I mostly play rush so I dont know if theyd be as good for some game modes but they really are phenomenal.

I might download this and give it a shot, i just don't play the game anymore though it's been collecting dust.
 
Went back to BF4 recently after many months away and I am sooo bad at this now. Seems I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. VERY frustrating. Wonder if Im losing my hand - eye coordination in my old age (turning 39 next month).
I only play hardcore cause I hate getting killed because of a mini map.

Not your age man. Just takes some time to get used to the way the game plays. When i took a 6 month break from bf4 because of destiny, it took me like 15 plus games to get back in my rythem and to knock the rust off. Kd dropped below 2.60 briefly. Got my kd and spm back up to my normal level now . I too will be turning 39 next month :)
 
Game works smoothly and flawlessly as usual. I am pumped for BF5 though...2016 right?

With 64 players on console I would say works "smoothly" is anything but....oh well who knows, maybe you have an extra GPU and CPU in your console compared to mine.

That or my 100mb connection just smooths it all out like butta. All I know is that she plays REALLY nice. Love it.
