All I pretty much do is race online so I'm used to it. When I try to get payback o usually end up crashing myself. But are you talking about when he went wide in that turn when I was outside of him or side by side on the straight? On the turn to me it looked like he just went wide which I would belive. The Ford GT isn't the best handling car. If you're talking about when passing him leading to my crash then yeah he was being an idiot there. He shouldn't have tried to block the other car.
Yeah it was what he did to you on the straight, just knocked you off the road for no reason. Consoles need to bring back a good Destruction Derby game for players to have a place to go and unleash their aggression. I'm sure the Forza racing wll stabilize by early next year when those who have to resort to causing accidents to compete will have moved onto another game.
I have been reporting these people like crazy as unsportsmanlike in the Xbox reporting feature.
Nice, that was a very clean lap. I'm assuming, since you weren't playing pinball, that that wasn't an online race.

Last light I decided to embrace the Manual Transmission(TM ) . There is no going back! I'm still getting used to it, but man, does it give you more control in the corners. It probably doesn't help that I'm learning on a Ford GT, but I want it to be hard so I can learn better. I was sucked into "just one more" last night. So much more fun and rewarding.
So with Forza 6 I have finally turned off the braking lines, and now, I have started using manual transmissions.... I didn't realize how much more fun it is!

Just finished a series with the Formula-e cars, and must say I didn't care for them much. Not only are they really quiet, they top out at about 135 mph. It didn't help that I chose them for the "Redline Series", which featured all tracks with long straights. Spent most of each race redlined.
They might be more fun on short tracks with lots of turns, as they handled quite well, but those long ones made it a real snooze fest.

I've only done it a few times now, but I'd say it pretty much comes down to this:
You have to know the car and the track well.
You'll need to start looking for turn markers or other landmarks that tell you when a turn is coming up.
Oh, and I'd leave Rewind on if you value your sanity!

There's no easy answer. Real world drivers memorize every track and have visual braking points. You simply have to know every inch of the track to do it. I can't do it. I still use the full racing line. I just don't have the time to memorize most tracks. I know a few of my favorites that have been in the series for years (Laguna Seca, Sebring) but otherwise I'm relying on the line.
A few tracks I know just because of racing on them so much, but otherwise without spending much time per track it's hard for me to get them down good enough, at least in this game.

Could be, but not sure. I have moved on already. I have chosen the "Track Toys" for the European Series. This morning I did the BAC on Brathurst in the rain, which was epic. I just can't get enough of those 3D puddles. They look so cool, and they are a nice challenge. I have been trying to avoid them, but not always possible. And now when I hit them, I generally let off the gas and I am pretty safe.
Next up was racing my BAC in the Alps, short. Oh my is that track BEA YEW TEE FULL. Game is addicting to me like Forza 4 was. I never got addicted to Forza 5 sadly.
Yes, it is not that fast. I am running it at A698 right now. I upgraded the transmission to a racing transmission. I changed the 6th gear and final drive to push it to 146.6 mph, but now it is so damn slow to accelerate. I need to put it in a happy medium. More tuning and testing I guess.I love that car. Too bad it's not that fast.
