There's posts about this. Yeah, a few versions behind. I'll still try it out on GP...if it's something I can see myself playing on the side...I may just shell the money on Steam. Also, this is not a full release, it's Early Access/Preview. Obviously, some things need to be sorted out. No one's paying cash for the Xbox version currently...unless you paid for GP solely to play Palworld.

oops...yeah, I would assume the server stuff and versioning will get worked out prior to full release. It's a bit unfortunate the XBox is a little behind. But it's the first weekend, so here's hoping the wait won't be too long.
Yeah, this is essentially a beta build on Xbox. My son has been playing it on his Xbox Series S, and he loves it.
Yeah I'll still try it out with some friends on PC GP, but might wait a bit for more patches first.
Someone @ Yosp and he @-ed a Sony employee to maybe see if they can also get this on the PS platform.
Except. Every player number stat we've seen has been entirely steam.
We have indication of how many are playing it on Xbox and he's using the wrong numbers to post a lot of drivel.
Yea what I posted before, all updates need to go through verification which can take some time. Hope they push it through quickly!

Judging by media and gamers recently MS/XB are not allowed to have anything of their own and push people to own an XB to play those games. No matter what they do they will always be the bad guy while Sony and Nintendo can do whatever they want.
They some things they do need to fix, however, I can see this being the next big thing if they get it right.

Yosp reached out to a Sony partnership employee to see if they could make it happen after a gamer tagged him in a tweet.
The waifu and I installed the game and we tried to start up coop on PC Gamepass... didn't work lol. May be a server issue or something so we didn't actually start to play yet.
The problem that people don't know is that it is on the xbox preview program. Once it is in there, no other console can have that game until full release. Which it goes back to their other game that also is still in preview program.
I don't see this game going to another platform. I am sure MS will bag this if it keeps getting bigger.
Sounds like they know about the coop issue and can't connect. Hopefully they fix it sooner than later
