Its very widespread. I swear sometimes Nintendo doesn't plan ahead at all. A beloved game that has been out of print for nearly a decade gets a remake and they decide to err on the side of caution and not make enough physical carts. Only Nintendo.
I’m sure the internet/social media will blast Nintendo for this for weeks to come… of course they won’t they get a free pass on everything.
Honestly I’ve never understood why they don’t have all their old games going back decades digitally for purchase, people would buy them no matter what they cost.
