As always, we want to be up front with you, our fans – we’re doing a small, closed Alpha and we want to make sure you are in on it first. In fact, for being such an amazing community here on our forums, you are the first to know about it.

However, this test is not only limited to a very small number of participants, it is also limited to some very specific PC specifications. The good news is we’re opening the sign-up to the forums for a chance to get in. The not-so-good news for some of you is that it will only be happening in North America. We have some very specific reasons for this as it’s a crucial learning opportunity for the developers. We can't wait to get our hands on the test data and hear feedback from players.

Of course we wish we could have you all join in, regardless of location or otherwise. That said, this Alpha test is just the beginning and it won't be your last opportunity to help us test before launch.

Thank you to all of our fans. You have shown an unbelievable amount of excitement and dedication even this far from launch. We absolutely can't wait to get everyone in on Evolve come October 21st.

Do I have to sign up using the PC I'm going to be playing on? That's so bothersome. Have to wait till I get home then.

I got my invite. Alpha is scheduled for Friday thru Sunday.

Hm, they are obviously saving the best for last because I haven't got mine yet.

Yep... any minute now.

I would sign up to try it out but honestly the game doesn't interest me very much.

and I'd feel like an asshat if I got in, played for 10 minutes, found out I was right and it doesn't interest me all the while knowing I took a spot someone that's actually interested could have used.

That said, good luck to those that do want to get in and hope it's as fun as you hope.

It's nearly a month late to sign up, anyway, but I understand where you are coming from.

This game is pretty fun, however like Left 4 Dead 2, it can get old quick if the developers stop supporting it with new content updates in the long term.

I'm hoping for PC at least that community maps will be supported over time in the Steam Workshop just like Left 4 Dead 2, but since this is 2K publishing the game, they might go with DLC or do both!

Had GGz with VaL and Aqua. The game is much better when playing with Steam friends.
