Seems like a waste. There have been over 10 Spider-Man games on Xbox already. Nothing worth buying really.

Very interesting!

Insomniac is the perfect studio for Spider-Man. Hopefully Wolverine will be met with the same amount of success.

Activision sounds so bitter from that article 🤣

- Spotify doesn't usually have songs roll off - they are basically there in perpetuity
- Spotify has an absolutely immense library compared to GamePass. Virtually every mainstream song is on Spotify now
- Spotify doesn't have a built-in store to buy the songs. If you are on GamePass and a game is about to roll off you are a few clicks away from buying it to own.
- Spotify is highly unprofitable for most artists. Only huge artists with huge hits really make any money off of Spotify. If you hit 1 million streams you make under $5K in most cases. It takes over 700 streams to make $1.

Music doesn't compare to video games. I'll often queue up 40+ year old songs and they still sound great. I prefer older music and am barely into anything new. Any "new" music I listen to is just from old bands from back in the day. Video games are obviously different. Newer is better almost always. I have zero urge to replay the Atari stuff from 1979.

There's lots of demand for new video games. One way or another I need new games on my systems. Spotify isn't the reason I don't buy new music. I look at the top 100 songs and I don't know 90% of the people.

All I buy is vinyl. I try to buy it from the artist website when possible.

Microsoft kind of f***ed themselves a long time ago when they refused to make games. Now they're starting to build a portfolio, but that s*** doesnt happen over night.

From the last half of the 360 through almost the entire Xbox One era, they basically didnt make games.

A games publisher that doesn't want to make games was always going to be a problem.

Seems like Sony is going all in. Sounds familiar.

“By expanding to PC and mobile, and it must be said… also to live services, we have the opportunity to move from a situation of being present in a very narrow segmentof the overall gaming software market, to being present pretty much everywhere.” Link
